If it takes an Obama/Clinton ticket to make people in WV, KY and all those places
where Obama is not liked for whatever reason, I say let's go for it. I don't see Hillary as the devil- regardless of what I think of her campaign, she's a very capable and intelligent woman that can bring a lot of people to our side. She's not the devil.

Let's do an Obama/Clinton ticket and let's beat the crap out of McCain in November.

2. If something happened to Obama, you'd have a Pres controlled by special interests and we'd
be right back where we started from. Plus, do you really think it would be smart to have a corporate Democrat for your running mate? I would not want to be the person standing between corporate lobbyists and billions of dollars. He should pick a non corporate Democrat for his VP.

11. She would rally the Republican base and send Independents to McCain in droves.

In OH, her hacks were telling voters that she'd be Obama's VP b/c she would be in the catbird's seat. I'm sure you can figure out what that means.

5. Having Hillary on the ticket will not win us WV or KY
Kerry didn't win those states. Gore didn't win those states, he didn't even win TN. I doubt just putting Hillary on there could help us.

6. Adding Hillary isn't going to change the hate in some
of the comments from those folks.

7. There are other candidates that will draw better and that have none
of the baggage.

8. I really don't think the "Barock HUSSIAN Obama" types
Are going to vote for a ticket with Obama anywhere on it.

I think that reasonable Democrats will vote the Dem ticket even if Hillary isn't on it. Obama is winning this thing fairly without trying to take down his opponent with scare tactics and fearmongering. Again, reasonable people will respect that he earned the victory and the right to name a VP who truly supports the message of change and forward progress and moving away from the Beltway politics at which the Clintons and their inner circle excel.

Die-hard racists are lost, but how big a loss is that really? As someone said a while back, this process seems to be separating the 'wheat' from the 'chaff'. So be it.

The "I'll take my Hillary ball and go home" group...well, Obama can pull in the donors like no one else. He can continue to do that for the GE in addition to gaining crossover support from Independents and disgruntled Republicans.

The Clinton negatives outweigh what few positives they bring. And there are other individuals who could bring those same positives to the Obama ticket.

10. Adding two Clintons to the ticket is EXACTLY what the Republicans want
They would derail his campaign as well as mobilize the Republicans to get out the vote against any chance of the Clinton getting back in the White House.

What they would do first is go after the Clintons recent unvetted scandals and try to trash them so it looks like Obama can't make a good decision, like McGovern with Eagleton. Then they'd let them bleed, all while the Clintons go off message with the Obama campaign...

It would be the McCain candidacy the best hope of winning.
