15. I find your posting of that illustration offensive
and a representation of violence against a woman. As many others also will have the same reaction I suggest you remove it.

18. It is not violence against women it is literary allegory that is over 70 years old visually and 100

In written form.

Parody is part of the american politic fabric.

Lenny Bruce would not approve of your oppression of speech and opinion but feel free to throw around yours.

If anyone can take offense at any image of childhood fable and call it as anything they wish the slippery slope never ends.

If you are offended you have it in your power not to look.

So therefore your offence is over and you can move on.

Anything more than protecting your own sensibilities from offense in your demand is oppression in its simplest form.

Move on nothing to look at here.

and the proclivity of tornadoes to occur there then theres more humor and were not in toto anymore.

Get over it.

I dont see you throwing a fit about her being compared to a parapalegic with her arms and legs chopped off, wheres you offense on behalf of half crazed knights who have no limbs.

Oh wait everyone understands that literary allusion is not literal.

How about yelling about all the Ralph Kramdens who seem to be on a rampage driving around buses that people keep getting thrown under.

Why under one object is ok and another is not, are you a busist.

Oh wait Ralph Kramden, doesn't he threaten violence against women, my god how could there be humor in that and it be accepted.

We must obliterate Ralph Kramden

Oh wait HES JUST A CHARACTER and literary allusion.

You see drama and feigned offense is just that when it is used to oppress opinion that is contrary to our belief rather than altruism that it is always couched in.

Again move on, unless you have to still be oppressive and have the last word to compensate for shortcomings in your control.

Wait, shortcoming is that a phallocratic reference in rhetoric or just the way the whole world see the word used provided you dont have a problem ascribing sexism to every situation, conversation, image or word in literary reference.:sarcasm:

Time to live in the real world again not the internet fake world where an image AND allegory can somehow transcend the realm of mass and reality to threaten and squash a living breathing human being.

9. Her negative rating might be higher now
It was high to begin with, but it might eventually rival George Bush's. That 58% doesn't include any hits to her reputation on the 'white voter' comment as well as her gas tax pandering, among other things.

6. That's funny.
As Hillary herself said, "It's not over until the lady in the pantsuit says it's over."

It's not over because we Obama supporters want it to be over.
It's not over because the press is tired of reporting it and wants to start pitting Obama against McCain.

It's over when Hillary drops out. I don't think she has or can build enough momentum to take the nomination, but she still has plenty of momentum. You don't turn efforts like that around on a dime.

She very nearly was our nominee, and she would have been a great President, maybe even one of the best ever. Give her some space to maintain her dignity.

Barack Obama is.

8. The key point is her speech after the WV primary
Some pundits believe that she wants to go out on a high note. The KY primary is the same day as the Oregon primary, so that wouldn't be a 'high note'. I'm interested in her speech tomorrow.

10. Hmmm you could be right.
I thought she'd want to go out before falling behind in the Superdelegate race, personally. But you could very well be right.

Or it could just be a fantasy.

12. got the idea from Morning Joe show on MSNBC
so I can't take full credit for the idea. I think they have a wonderful point though. If she gets out after a huge win in WV she will actually look fairly good. Otherwise there really won't be any high points for her to get out on. She's not going to win Oregon and that will cast a bigger shadow on her 'white voter' comment.

22. from a rational perspective, she should.
However, if she wants to stay in and destroy the Clinton "legacy", discredit the DLC, and burn her Senate bridges (even perhaps hurting her chances for reelection), then I think it's all good. She's heavily in debt, can't buy media, and now has to rely on outrageous statements to get media attention - that only further discredits her.

As someone said, "When your opponent insists on shooting themself in the foot, give them a gun and get out of the way." Lets just sit back and enjoy the show of the DLC going down... it's been a long time coming.
