i have come to the conclusion that he is unelectable
think about it.

- he can't even solidify support within his own party. sure, he's got his backers, but many would have preferred someone else. he must rely on party members to "hold their noses" while voting.

- who you associate with matters. his past associations are disturbing and show corruption and a complete lack of an economic and moral compass.

- he is lucky to be born as he was. he had opportunities not available to others simply because of who he is. yet he has done nothing of note beyond getting elected to the senate. once there, he has done nothing positive, as his only purpose there seems to be to position himself to become president.

- he was a pow for years. even without thinking "manchurian candidate", that's gotta mess with your head. america wants a steady hand on the nuclear football.

- he spent the last 7+ years cozying up to the most disastrous administration in history. all right, maybe grant was worse as far as corruption goes, maybe hoover was worse as far as economic disaster goes, but no one can match the shear breadth of disasters of this administration. everything they touch turns to crap, and he's covered in it (ewwww!).

- the guy's, like, older than reagan, and even he went batty in office.

the bottom line is, i just don't see him getting elected.

1.  With a sleay, lazy press; miracles can occur.
Someone who is doing great opposition research on McCain is Cliff Schecter. But, don't expect the media to give Schecter much attention.

2. Unfair
When it comes to corruption, Grant couldn't hold a candle to the Bush administration.

15. All true, but think of the dim bulbs who voted for Bush's second term.
Technicalities like having your wits about you don't matter a whole lot. To them, the POW experience = he should be president. We can't take him for granted.
