Hillary camp: three-fifths compromise alive and well
even though I thought it was abolished with the 13th amendment following the Civil War. Hillary wonders why she polls in the single digits with African-Americans. She should have paid attention to Bill Richardson's endorsement of Obama, when he said in Spanish that Obama will 'respect us'. That's all minority groups want, R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Not to be treated better than other groups. Blacks don't want Obama to enslave the white race. Minorities just want to be treated somewhat equally and always with respect. It's a shame that Hillary's superdelegate argument right now is a euphemistic way of saying that the white, working class voter is more important than the black voter. Time to stop feeding into the media narrative of fear-mongering with respect to the black community and Obama and get on with the issues important to creating a more perfect Union. I'm just holding on to the hope that Dubya doesn't bomb Iran before Obama beats McCain in the general election.

2. Thanks
I agree. The media hardly made a peep when George Bush sent another aircraft carrier to the Middle East as a 'reminder' to Iran. Too busy pastorbating to worry about our troops in harm's way. The rhetoric with Iran is starting to get worse and I fear than Bush might try to start something with Iran to force our troops to stay in Iraq and the Middle East region.

4. It has been hard to predict
the political timetable of Bush and war. It has not been used before an election for one simple reason. It is risky and if things are gameable for the GOP nothing will interfere with Plan A. If however, as is quite possible, that McCain is obvious toast then injecting chaos into the campaign and getting Iran "done" with full initiative to be exploited by McCain who has nothing to lose could be Plan B. If however, all the opposition and likely outcomes pose big risk for Bush he might wait until after the election after McCain sinks and thus begins the spiteful contest against President Obama before he gets into the Oval office.

They are certainly pimping this war, even more incompetently and intractably as before. I think they will in most cases save the gambit until after the election, no matter who wins.

8. MSM dulling our senses to a war with Iran
FOX News leading the charge. They've been drumming up support for a war against Iran just in case Bush decides to bomb Iran, hoping that then there won't be as much backlash from the public. Israel has all but stated that they plan on pre-emptively striking Iran within a year since they think that Iran will have nuclear capability then.
