19. you can't discount republicans that are disenfranchised.
I amsure there is more than a few that are sick of Bush and McSame, and crossed over to vote for their fave... Hill or O.

Hillary won Indiana, Obama won NC,

What happens now is up to the candidates.

at least from CNN's Exit polls. But the Repub vote is all she didn't to take over the top. Though..she will get what...2 additional delegates out of it?

10. C'mon, just let her have it.
However she won, she won. By 22,000 votes.

I can't wait until we can officially call this primary over and unite to end McCain's bid.

11. Honestly, I think Rush inspired just as many votes against Hillary.
And that was probably the intention all along. Just to muddy the waters and create division in our party.

Time to move on, and win the GE...

She only won Indiana with a ton of votes from Republicans who fully intend to vote for John McCain in November.

20. An honest headline : Rush Limbaugh irrelevant, unable to manipulate R (or) D primaries!
I mean, how pathetic! At one time, this guy had millions of drooling Dittoheads at his beck and call. Now, he can't even keep McCain from winning the Repulican nomination. Now, he can't even convince his remaining handful of drooling Dittoheads to manipulate the Democratic nomination. As many or more Republicans votd for Obama as voted for Hillary.

There's a reason Rush never endorsed a candidate for the Republican race - he feared what that candidate losing would reveal about his "influence." Chiefly, that he doesn't HAVE any.

Hillary may well continue on to the convention, but it will be with the understanding that she can't really win anymore. That will take some of the sting out of her run. Obama is pretty safely ahead now, and can be magnanimous in congratulating Hillary on her future victories. In fact, it's beneficial to keep recruiting new voters into this race.

Limbaugh has failed. He is finally, definitively, a has-been.

Edited on Wed May-07-08 02:12 AM by Leopolds Ghost
We will never know who really won Lake County, as Chuck Todd pointed out. Notice the late surge of Clinton voters from 16,000 margin with 95% reporting to 20,000 margin -- all from Lake county? Hammond's mayor played chicken with Gary's mayor on who got to report first, like when Matalin told Bush how many votes Kerry needed in nearby northern Ohio. It is apparently a time honored tradition among the ward bosses and hard hats (black and white) up there.
