| Small question,big issue:Kerry,foreign policy, and the UN. |
|
I like the UN alot and think it needs to be strengthened but that aside, my question (on behalf of all voters who think the world needs to be a more paceful and prosperous place)is on Kerry view of the UN and specificaly what he has outlined specificaly or has taken as policy positions.
Does he think UN resolutions are important? Should they be followed if they passed without a US veto? Should he veto resolutions that are voted on by every other emmber of the security council? Should he veto resolutions that are voted on by like 95%-99% of UN member states?
How did Kerry feel the UN resolutions were to be takn into consideration with regards to our Iraq policy? How does he feel the UN resolutions (both US vetoed ones and passed ones)are to be taken into consideration on ..say..... the Israeli-Palestinian issue?
How will his positions convince enough voters , in this foreign policy driven political climate , that he can make the world a better place through peace and relative prosperity?
