Orlando Sentinel prints 5 letters about attack on Dean Dozen candidate.
AND the reporter gives him a heads up in his column yesterday. Dana Rasch's opponent rather made fun of him for being the Marine escort for the Rose Bowl queen after 9/11. I gather they got a few letters. I am very impressed with Dana, and he is a fighter.

Here are the reporter's comments in his column yesterday:

SNIP..."Pulse brings in the bucks

"Pulse has been flooded with notes in recent weeks from supporters of Democrat Dana Rasch, a political novice launching a bid against Republican Pat Patterson for the District 26 state House seat. It started when Pulse published comments from Patterson downplaying the significance of Howard Dean's "Dean Dozen" list, which includes Rasch as a member. The range of reactions was surprising. Some e-mailers slammed Pulse. Others praised us. Our favorite note came from Vicki L. Trojnor: "I just wanted to let you know that because of Howard Dean's endorsement of Dana, I sent him <$>25.00 and plan on sending more money to him in the future. By the way, I am a stay at home mom, who resides in upstate NY."END SNIP

Here are the 5 letters printed on July 18. I think this is just great.

1. Dana worked here in Iowa during the caucuses for Dean
He worked out of our building and organized Bremer County. Dana was a true believer and a hard worker with true ethics. He's someone to be admired...and to have $$ contributed to his campaign!!! I did!

2. He is a fighter most definitely.
He is not going to let Patterson bully him at all.
Glad you contributed.
