Third Party Underground
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/04/clinton-camp-c...

I swear on all that is good in the world, if Hillary pushes her nuke option and twist enough arms on the Democratic Party's 30-member Rules and Bylaws Committee and they seat MI and FL delegates AS IS, I will have completely lost what little faith I had left in the Democratic party.

It will be really time to MOVE ON

Maybe Skinner will be interested in a name change? :patriot:

4. I suspect there will be a LOT of people leaving what's left of the "Democratic" party

..if these 'deciders' count MI and FL delegates WHEN IT WAS ALREADY PREVIOUSLY AGREED they would NOT be counted - and when OBAMA WASN'T EVEN ON THE BALLOT in Michigan.

I've been registered Indy since 2001 but have ALWAYS voted Democratic - for the Dem nominee.

THIS YEAR, if it's Hillary (who is a REPUBLICAN, IMO) - I will NOT vote for her. I'll write in Obama. Because there will be NO Democrat on the ticket to vote for!

In 2012, I will not vote a Dem ticket at all. It will be Indy all the way. NOT Repub. NOT Dem. Every year, year after year, I'll write in a name. And that will be the end of my involvement with politics in this f*cked up country.

There's no point. After the 2000 debacle, then 2004, then in 2008, if some bunch of hoity-toity 'deciders' in an ivory tower overturn the will of the voters to cram ANOTHER REPUBLICAN into office - I'm through with this crap.

How would you feel if it was reversed?

If your candidate played by the rules and wasn't even on the ballot?

Come on OMC, I know your a fair guy. That's just not right.

7. I really don't know how it works
The money we sent to Obama for him to win against Hillary, if the Democratic Party agrees to hand the nom to her, do they get to keep that money? Our money????

Can Obama take all that money and his infrastructure and run independent and kick Hillary and McSames ASS?

10. There may come a time when that is necessary.
But now isn't it. Anyone who doubts that McCain would install hard right wingers in the Supreme Court is deluding themselves. We NEED to make the next few appointments or we'll lose many of the rights we've come to expect for at least 50 years.

I despise Hillary and the corporate control she stands for, but I can't let those appointments be in repub hands.

14. In all fairness to Hillary...
the "obliterate" comment was also a reaction to a hypothetical - which tend to be more dramatic than reactions to real things.

16. Winning hearts and minds - just like a good republican. I hope she does it.....
Keep nailing your own nails in your own obliterated fucking coffin, you worthless sack of shit. Pound them in even faster so the rest of us can watch more of them go in.

Amazing - I used to defend her on DU a year or so ago. Then I was ok with her. Then I disliked her. Then I hated her. Now she's just an abominable shell of something that might have been a person at one time, but is worthless now.

17. Any respect i had for America The Free will be Entirely Gone -- U.S.O.S.
I think America's continuing worsening respect around the world will finally reach its lowest possible point if this situation happens. MI and FL delegates should not, and will not, be seated as is...to do so for the only sake of handing the nomination to a non-deserving candidate who has absolutely no interest in the American people just as Bush hasn't any is embarrassing! I do agree the delegates should be seated by both states but in a way that is fair since Obama DID follow the rules and so he shouldnt be punished for something that he had no involvement in....the blame falls onto the states parties...not the DNC, and especialyl not Obama.
