Transparent Red Pick-up Truck Photo-op emporium!
Edited on Sat May-03-08 06:10 PM by beat tk

Edit... so apparently Fred Thompson was the first to use a red pickup... then McCain... THEN the Clintons.

Edit: So it was apparently Fred Thompson, then JANET RENO, then McCain, then the Clintons. This is the only Reno photo I could find.

I wonder if he is telling the story of Hillary and him going to the store to get coconuts while
they were in the White House?

Cindy McCain is wearing a lampshade and sitting in the bed of a pickup.

Can anyone be more of a Barbie Doll than that woman?

16. Can't forget Janet Reno:
http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C00E2D7163EF934A25751C1A9679C8B63

"Mr. Elleithee's job will most likely include keeping up with his candidate, who likes to travel alone to campaign appearances in her pickup truck. She is planning a ''red truck tour'' from the Alabama border through the entire state, where she says she believes she can sway voters who have not yet heard from her.

Out with the old and in with the new. Washington desperately needs some Spring cleaning.

18. What! A 91-day walking tour... now THAT is impressive.
"Mr. Chiles, who died in 1998, earned the nickname Walkin' Lawton when he took a 91-day walking tour of the state from the Alabama line to Key Largo in 1970."
