Please stop the crepe hanging: Voters want any Democrat over any Republican
By a huge margin.. WSJ/NBC poll

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/msnbc/sections/news/080430_NBC-WSJ_Released.pdf

A. Putting aside for a moment the question of who each party's nominee might be, what is your preference for the outcome of the 2008 presidential election––that a Democrat be elected president, or that a Republican be elected president?

Democrat = 51%

Republican = 33%

Not sure/other = 16%

Can we try not to fuck this up?

Now, for the interesting part:

B. Regardless of whether you have already voted or not, if the Democratic primary election were being held today would you vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama?

Barack = 46%

Hillary = 43%

Back in January, it was Barack 37 and Hillary 53. With each successive poll, Hillary has gone down and Barack has gone up. That seems to be an irreversible trend.

C. What is your preference for the outcome of this year's congressional elections––a Congress controlled by Republicans or a Congress controlled by Democrats?

Democratic Congress = 49%

Republican = 34%

The study was done April 24-28.

We're winning and this is ours to lose.

2. That's my take on it
I don't care who is on the D ticket they my vote. Of course I have always voted Dem so that's nothing new, but I think all this fighting over who is better or more qualified is a distraction, fueled in large part by the media......... :shrug:
