“IF BARACK GETS PAST THE PRIMARY, HE MIGHT HAVE TO PUBLICLY DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM ME”
Per Reverend Wright back in Arpil of 2007.

And Barack said, "yeah that might have to happen".

In a New York Times profile of the Obama-Wright relationship in April 2007, Wright himself predicted such a split based on the controversial remarks that were already under some scrutiny. “If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me,” Wright told the paper over a year ago. “I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.”

11. No he distanced himself from comments, not wright, remember he couldn't disown him more than he
the black community or his own grandmother who made him cringe.

21. I am sure someday when you are over your bitterness after HRC loses, you will come to realize
that Obama is a human and not a 24 hr per day demagoguing politician. Eventually you will appreciate it and be happy you voted for him.

15. That means he loses huge numbers of AAs.
I guess it's all just a political game, as Rev. Wright so succinctly said.

16. He thinks he has this locked up and it's safe now to disown wright. He will worry
about getting what little he loses back in November, if he gets that far.

18. doubt it
Look, Obama is not going to lose that demographic. We saw how they responded to Tavis taking on Obama and, already, Black radio--at least in LA--and many of the African American web sites are celebrating the move. They have his back.

24. No one who attacks the presumptive "nominee" like you do is a "fellow" anything to me. I made
a comment. a rare one for me here these day. I owe you nothing and nothing you shall get.

There is a world out there, where people don't obsess over this chyte. I'll be back when the nomination is "called", when the shills for Hill and insanity are out of here, and when logical discourse about winning the WH and taking back our country resumes on DU.

29. As long as you and others post these hit pieces against Obama,
I will continue to create pix, increasing my output exponentially until you, and the others stop. They are a reflection, and an equal and opposite reaction to the Obama bashing. He is a good man, and a Democratic Senator, and fully qualified to beat the pants off McLame.

Once you and the others stop, I will get back to bashing McCain.

PS. I am a Kucinich fan who supports the Democratic candidate.

30. This is what got Bomba into a tizzy.
“What I think particularly angered me,” Obama said of Wright on Monday, “was his suggestion somehow that my previous denunciation of his remarks were somehow political posturing."

It has zip to do with Wright's anti-American remarks and everything to do with calling him a typical politician, which he is.

That's the guy he didn't know all these years, the one who would embrace his 15 minutes of fame over helping his charge to the presidency.
