1. I hope he can weather this.
I think he has the proper tone and support to do so.

But that doesn't make it any less daunting when the MSM comes carrying the GOP's water.

On that note, this type of mfr'ed attack was that Hillary's supporters were warning about when people claimed Obama was baggage free and therefore untouchable.

The RW does not need the truth, all they need is the hot button.

3. I don't think anyone ever claimed that Obama was "baggage free"
It was that he had no more baggage then anyone else running against the republicans. This is their bread and butter. We know that. And it doesn't matter who we put up against them. They'd find a scandal on Mother Teresa.

Although you still have a point, since Whitewater was a manufactured scandal that did not hurt him in '96.
