My Sis n Law.. "Did YOU hear what that woman said about Iran"
I cannot vote for her or McCain. I won't have that bitch sending my man to Iran. What the F was she thinking. If there is not a Obama, then there better be a really, really public Independant who's ready to step up and run against the two warmongers... Aparently there are a lot of people who heard her pandering words in N.C. and they are so pissed off at her. She lives outside of Fort Bragg... the people are pissed at her for that.

1. Is it necessary to call her a bitch?
Now the Clinton supporters will spend the whole thread complaining about that instead of addressing your point about Iran. Can we please stop calling her a bitch or other names? I am sick of the name-calling on both sides.

ass back husband said the bitch part. She would have voted Dem.. Now, if its Clinton or McCain, she doesn't trust either and hopes for Al Gore to jump in as Ind... I doubt that will happen. She's not a political. She's a concerned woman who is worried about her man.. is worried about him being stop lossed.. AND they are not on the younger side.. they are 33.. they want to move on with their lives.

On Edit: I should add he's a gunner.. and his truck struck an IED last time out. They are lucky to be alive right now.

6. There's a big difference
between saying that, depending on the circumstances, all options are on the table and saying we will "obliterate" you with nukes.

7. Exactly her point..
and if you are willing to say this on t.v. to pander to the 20%r's, then really what would you be willing to do once you are in the White House. Everyone knows that all options are on the table when it is absolutely necessary.. I don't think a threat like that is viewed by the world as a good one. They've already had to suffer through ole' Clown n' Boots for 8 yrs.

8. To add to this, they had black out the other day because they lost a couple of guys.
And they are based in Kuwait. They did a blackout so that the "family's wouldn't find out bad news from the news"... One of the guys died from and accident where the vehicle rolled over. The army is fighting to pay the family his insurance benefits because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Do you realize how many of them don't wear their seatbelt. They don't so they can jump out fast for return fire or in case of an explosion. Needless to say I think the blackout is on that information.. that the grieving widow and children will not recieve the insurance benefits because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.. AND I believe they are asking for the bonus money back as well. If this is supporting our troops, I'd say its rather shitty support.

9. Hillary has been alienating more and more voters
throughout the campaign. I guess she thinks she can just take back everything she has said at some later date and all will be forgiven.

11. It didn't really phase me all that much.. I knew she was pandering..
but it reached people in N.C. near the base and they are not happy at all about it.. They are tired of sending their families off to Iraq or Afganistan.. and now the knew biggie to keep yourself out of the Desert is to sign up and go to South America. It really is time to get rid of the corruption in Washington.

13. Why? I didn't really think much of it.. I don't give a shit who wins as long
as its a Dem... It was my SIL that brought it up and she was pissed off and she was afraid. As it is now, he's been mulling over signing back up so that he isn't stop lossed and thrown back in Iraq as a gunner. If he re-signs, he will only do it under a diff. job title. The last mission they were on, his truck blew up. The danger is real. The idea that anyone would want to start another war is ridiculous. I don't know why Hillary had to threaten with the actual words like a Neo-Con. I personally had preferred Clinton's health plan and education platform. Its not my drama. My husband sits comfortably in a chair watching t.v. at the end of the day. She counts down the days till he's home safely... Like I said, those are not my words.. those are her words.. and yes, they are dramatic because its like living a nightmare. He's a great person. A terrific writer with talent than most here would only dream of possessing. He likes to fly kites because its just a great old past time. He and I are trying to plan an engagement around my SIL not getting suspicious. Her kids from a previous marriage get to view snippets of him on a web cam, if the internet is working ok.. He was super excited because they were installing a free server.. prior to this they were paying $35.00 a month for shoddy service that kept them off more than on. These are real people... These are real people's lives... I was always against this from the beginning. I married into a family that encourages a lot of its young to serve to get them out of the reservation area and to accomplish more than being poor. This is dramatic for people living this... so laugh on.

17. If we nuke Iran, there will be nuclear fallout all over the Middle East.
There could be nuclear clouds moving over Europe....

You think about THAT and laugh about melodrama.

SICK...

16. I asked my wife if she knew about what HRC said
and she did. She heard in on Al Jazeera English, which we tend to watch now instead of BBC World. Guess how many millions of people have also heard about it on Al Jazeera Arabic edition!

(BTW, Al Jazeera English is what BBC used to be about 10 years ago. Wide coverage of world events, probing documentaries, plus a whole bunch of ex-BBC reporters. Without the logo it would be hard to tell the difference, except that BBC World today is nothing like what it used to be after they cut several long-running documentary programs, like Panorama, and replaced them with corporate-sponsored series about yachting and such.)
