Has Clinton reached a Bush level of incompetence?
Every single day theres another gaffe or a downright scandal yet most of it goes by largely unreported. At this point the media isn't even paying attention to it, just like Bush it has become so common its not even worth talking about.

Take the tale told in another thread of Clinton's new add where she blames bush for shutting down a factory that was actually sold off during Bills presidency. Not a huge deal to be sure but yet another in a long line of complete screw ups that could easily have been avoided with just a little care taken to make vet what you are putting out there.

She borrows and spends like Bush including hiding the real numbers.

Hillary Clinton's campaign debt at the end of March was bigger than it appeared because she didn't list the $5 million she loaned herself, a campaign finance watchdog group reported this afternoon.

Clinton, in her filing with the Federal Election Commission, reported that her campaign had $9 million in cash on hand as of March 30, and $10 million in debts.

She values loyalty over competence just like the shrub.

Rather than punish Solis Doyle or raise questions about her fitness to lead, Clinton chose her to manage the presidential campaign for reasons that should now be obvious: above all, Clinton prizes loyalty and discipline, and Solis Doyle demonstrated both traits, if little else. This suggests to me that for all the emphasis Clinton has placed on executive leadership in this campaign, her own approach is a lot closer to the current president's than her supporters might like to admit."

And just like shrub she seems inclined to bomb first and ask questions later.

Clinton on an Iran Attack: 'Obliterate Them'

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said

Aren't we sick of this sort of shit yet? After 8 years of crap like this how can people seriously consider her as the next potus?

1. No, she's worse than Bush
Bush does as he's told.

Clinton does as she wishes.

Bush doesnt know better.

Clinton knows better, but doesnt care about right and wrong, the only thing she cares about is herself.

2. ...
OK, I don't like how she's run her campaign, I think she's shown incredible arrogance and a disregard for many in the party, BUT Hillary Clinton is not now, nor will she ever, reach Bush level incompetence.

(did I mention, the thought of having to vote for her makes me a little naseous? I hope it doesn't come to that, but I will if I have to :puke: )

9. Hillary is Hillary.
She is in a class all her own. Not as bad as Bush, but still not what a "real" democrat should be either.

10. SHAME on all of you! NOBODY in my lifetime has been worse than
the Shrub! I voted for Barack, and still support him, but I want a Dem in the WH no matter what, and if Hillary gets the nomination, I sure will vote for her. She's NOT Bill, and she has positives and negatives the same as Barack does. To compare anyone except McCain to Shrub is beneath a level any dem should ever go.

22. Please save your Rovian/Obama attacks because were not biting
Blah, blah, blah, blather, blather, blather. We don't want a (sell my soul to the insurance companies), fox in sheep's clothing in the White House. We don't want a I'll attack Pakistan to flush out Al-Quida in the White House. We don't want a "I'm just a white person" in the White House. We don't want a "gun/bible hugging, antipathy/racist calling" in the White House.

23. This is one of the stupidest, most uniformed posts I have seen on DU
And remember what DU posters think are worth recommeding!

I would argue your specific points. I would point out that you are like a lemming nodding in agreement with talking points while ignoring gaffs of Obama's...but

I believe that Clinton has to be perfect or she is a failure. Woman have to do what men do backwards and in high heels.

Obama keeps telling everyone, when he f's up that he is only human and makes mistakes. And he is forgiven. Clinton cannot be forgiven. She is not allowed one mistake.

24. maybe if she owned her mistakes like he did she wouldnt have that problem
instead its I was tired or i was lied to or some other similar crap to try to avoid ever being seen as making a mistake.

Obama has shown her how all she needs to do is own her bullshit. People dont expect perfection but they do want honesty
