Iran: Hillary's statements have made me reach another decision
I WILL NOT AND CANNOT vote for her if she would somehow become the nominee. I WILL NOT and CANNOT vote for anyone who could support a war such as she has. How could I look at my son in the eye after voting for her? How could I look at any of our young adults in the eye if I were to vote for her in the GE? I will not be responsible for our country entering another war based on lies. I will not vote to sacrifice our children. Yes, if she would somehow steal the nomination, we would have little choice, 100 year McSame or Nuclear Hillary. Either case, we are doomed.

I watched a documentary a couple years ago. The documentary was based inside Iran and proof was provided the only nukes within the country was clearly a nuclear power plant. The experts on that documentary stated there was no way the nuclear power plant could be confused with anything else. We are being fed a lie regarding Iran just as we were fed lies about Iraq.

And yes, it hasn't been a week since I posted that a not voting is a vote for McSame. After hearing Hillary's comments on Iran, I see little difference in either one.

I have very little faith in our election system after 2000 and 2004. Barack Obama helped to restore some hope that we could overcome the "type of government" forced upon us. Today, my hope is fading as I see the writing on the wall. I fear she will somehow steal this nomination away from Obama. My fears are far beyond the division of our party. I fear the regime will never really be removed from the upper layers of our government. I fear for my son. I fear for our country. If the will of the people is overturned and she obtains the nomination, I will not be voting in November. I will be checking out other countries to live in. I will not sacrifice my son for oil, for corporate greed nor for the defense of another country.

4. Write in.
In the highly unlikely chance she becomes the nominee... I'll write in, and lead the march to build a new Progressive Party - apart from the Democratic party that clearly will have sold out to the Lieberman-like types of the Neocons & the DLC.

5. That should keep McCain out of office
:eyes:

That is throwing away your vote for this election. I agree that we need a viable Progessive Party with real progressive values. Neither of the candidates was my first choice, but they beat the hell out of the competition for 2008. I would like to see the Dems get back to their true roots (run, Al, run) and what the Dems need is for all of us progressives to run for precinct chairs and other offices within the party and clean it out from the inside.

8. And what exactly is the difference between McCain and Hillary?
Besides a vagina, breasts, and a pant suit?

11. McCain wants the war FOREVER!
Hillary can be persuaded otherwise.

And comments like this from Obama supporters (and I am one by default now because of Hillary's completely untoward decrying of Obama) are completely disgusting to me.

16. SCOTUS, for one thing. Health care, for another.
I don't support Hillary, but I sure as hell don't support McCain and will hold all these "Democrats" responsible for a McCain presidency if they refuse to support our nominee.

19. I'd be more willing to take a chance with her on those decisions,
than KNOW what the outcome would be with McCain at the helm.

25. I happen to be one who believes she would be perfectly
comfortable with him as her running mate. She was a hard core republican prior to Bill's entrance into the political world. That core runs deep within her.

I talked to the guy who bought it and offered my help. Hopefully there will be no need for it.

15. Yep, it would be an opportunity to start a new party.
Both major brands will be in the toilet if the Dems select Hillary over Obama. It would be a pox on both their houses. Folks are fed up.

He could win this walking away if they pick her.

(Just as an aside, Lieberman was Obama's mentor when he came to the Senate. He was watching the Lamont drama very closely.)

12. Obliteration is genocide.
It may have been a poor choice of words but, with a disciplined, skillfully managed candidate like Hillary, I have to believe it is part of her campaign vocabulary and an appeal to the knuckle draggers who will be disappointed if Bush leaves office without going nukular.

21. You should change your name to AllBushAllTheTime.
Because that's what you'll be voting for. You can rationalize it all day long, but in the end, in a two party system, a Democrat voting for a third party (or staying home) is mathematically voting for John McCain. My question is, how can you look your son in the eye after mathematically voting for HIM.

If Hillary steals the nomination, I will have no choice but to leave this country as I do not see any difference between her and McCain.

22. Somehow, McCain's going to war with Iran has become the lesser of two evils.
Nuclear annihilation is so far beyond McCain's stupid bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran...

I can't believe Hillary is a worse warmonger than John McCain.

23. Nail.On.The.Head. More of the same and worse.
More betrayal by those we thought would help us. It won't end nicely. If *their* goal is to break the US apart, great start.
