Does anyone have a quote of Obama accusing the Clintons of using racist tactics?
I keep reading here that Obama "swiftboated the Clintons on race," or has accused the Clintons of using race-baiting tactics, or of playing the race card... and so on, but every time someone makes one of these charges and I ask for a quote from Obama actaully making these charges, my requests always go unanswered.

I'm thinking that the people I ask must have me on "Ignore." That's the only reason I can think of that I don't get an answer. After all, it seems to be an article of faith around here that Obama accused the Clintons of racist tactics, so there must be a quote from him making this allegation, and that quote must be easy to turn up, since it's so often cited here that he made such a statement.

Hopefully someone who doesn't have me on ignore will see this and provide a quote.

Thanks!

1. That accusation is vacuous, at best.

7. In all honesty, I don't know whether anyone has me on ignore or not
but things have gotten so contentious around here I don't see why I should be exempt.

8. All he had to do
was have a Kenyan father and white mother. Essentially, he just had to be black. Because he does that everyday he is always using the race card as far as some people are concerned. And maybe they are right, had he not been in the race no one would have ever muttered anything racial (unless it is to undermine the democratic candidate).

9. He never did
The only thing they can point to is that single memo from South Carolina that listed all the Clinton race-baiting attempts . It was never released to the media, but it was leaked to the Huffington Post, so then Obama apologized for it in the debates.

10. Well,
the accusation gets thrown around here so much, I'm hoping that maybe someone can substantiate it for me with some kind of evidence that I'm not aware of.

I mean, just pulling an accusation like this out of one's ass is a tactic that no Clinton supporter would ever stoop to, so I'm sure one of them will come along any moment with a quote and correct me.

16. And it doesn't contain a single quote from Obama accusing the Clintons
of using racist tactics. Without that quote, the accusation that Obama "swiftboated the Clintons on race" is conjecture at best and complete and utter horseshit at worst.

15. I've seen that many times before.
It's not corroborated by any other media outlets that I'm aware of, and it doesn't give what I asked for: An actual quote from Obama accusing the Clintons of using racist tactics. That's what I'm asking for.

The accusation that I keep seeing is that "Obama swiftboated the Clintons on race." I need to see a quote in order to believe that.
