It's all pretty simple ....
If you want to live in the 19th Century vote for McCain ...

If you want to live in the 20th Century vote for Clinton ....

If you want to live in the 21st Century vote for Obama.

6. Sadly that is true.
The sheer power of the Internet requires a president that fully understands what is going on.

One of Obama's big plans is investments in Internet broadband lines to rural areas. Perfect timing due to cheaper fiber optics coming online!

7. That is hilarious and so true. I'm 32 and living for the future
The past is the Clintons and the ancient past is McCain. Funny how Obama has used the internet to get small donors and has gone out of his way to give a voice to the younger voters. I am old enough to remember Bill Clinton actually trying to appeal to younger voters by going on Arsenio Hall and MTV and in general not talking done to them. I coundn't even vote in 1992 at the age of 17 but I supported Clinton and Gore. Now Clinton thinks young people are too inexperienced to be able to think for themselves. Nice, what a slap to all the young people who supported the Clintons back in the 90's. Al Gore never put any of the younger generation down like that, he too sees the internet as part of changing the way politics is talked about/discussed rather than letting the media control the debate. When I see 18-24 year olds get involved I think its a very positive thing because if you don't vote at all you have no say in the political process at all. I won't even get into McCain here. I have an 87 year old Grandmother who has a clearer and better view of the world than he does. War should be a last resort always and I think that man really believes it is a tool to be used on a frequent basis.

10. I am 32 as well and it is weird because you have a past to embrace but
a future you want too. It has been kind of a mental struggle for me at times.

16. I guess it comes from having been diagnosed with diabetes at 29, I can sit and cry about it or live
and I chose to live my life. I embrace the past. I learned alot from my mistakes. I was very shy and introverted as a teenager. I was not rebellious at all. I felt like I had nothing in common with the kids I went to school with, they worried about cars, dates, clothes. I was worried about the state of the country and the world in general so I guess I've always kind of lived in the future except I had no social life. I met my husband in college and everything fell into place and now we have to great little girls who are 2 and 3 years old. I was told I had gestational diabetes with my second daughter and it never went away so it was a real bummer for me. But I'm hanging in there, keeping my sugars good and trying to be as healthy as possible. I really feel like Al Gore sometimes. Life gives you lemons and you make lemonade. I probably eat better and excercise more than I ever have in my life so thats positive. Just hang in there.
