File a complaint about the ABC debate with the FCC
I admit that this FCC will not do anything about it, but excessive bias is a legitimate basis for filing a complaint with the FCC.

6. *'s FCC is the joke.
And it's a terrible one. We should always be rattling their cage, though, if only to form the habit. I refuse to cede them control of my airwaves.

This may only mean, of course, that I am not yet as disillusioned as you. :7

4. Why?
Seriously....why? You afraid of a few tough questions? You think it will get any easier in the summer/fall?

Quit whining.

7. I can't believe you're spinning this as "a few tough questions."
That's horse-shit. It was 50 minutes of tabloid journalism. Some of it was aimed at Clinton, too, in case you hadn't noticed. It was ridiculously unprofessional and lightweight. I thought I was watching Geraldo.

8. Whining will get you absolutely nowhere
Welcome to the big leagues, rookie, I believe is how it is being spun.

Not everyone gets to run their Senate campaign against a total moron like Alan Keyes after a more formidable opponent implodes with a salacious divorce package that included rumors of wife swapping.

If Obama can't take this, which it increasingly looks like he won't be able to, he won't do jack shit at the big dance.

And if all his supporters and advisers are whining people like you, he is toast. Total.

10. Bleh, the FCC?
The same FCC that threw a fit when a little black nipple made its way into the SuperBowl by accident? Don't waste your time with them. Protecting conservative prudes like the ones in Hillary's camp and at ABC is what they're all about.

11. No FCC has ever done anything about the public trust concept.
Only one station has ever lost its license due to not serving the public trust.

Hitting the advertisers works better.

12. Better yet, complain to your Congresscritter.
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 10:19 PM by backscatter712
The Bushie FCC is still subject to Congressional oversight, and we can see ABC's executives and the FCC bigwigs who are supposed to be regulating them get a very public wedgie at the hands of a Congressional Oversight Committee...

13. Im Gonna Rec
not because I think the FCC will do anything about that sorry excuse for a debate.

But because there are so many real problems in the broadcast arena today. That link should be something we use regularly when Hannity engages in sexism, or O'reilly gets racist on air. Or so many other examples.
