The Stars see FOUR Stars
This is just the cutest thing!! And the pictures ROCK!

http://www.astrologycafe.com/astro2001/wes_clark/veep.html

I don't know much about astrology, but I do know that I am ever bit what the charts say Capricorns are, excepting I'm not wealthy... but give me time! LOL!

1. I especially like the part about the decision having been
made "several" weeks ago--like, maybe, 16 or so? Around Feb. 13th, maybe? :bounce: :bounce:

32. Possibly Feb 13th, but...
Possibly when Kerry was in Little Rock? And Clark flew back to DC with him? And had dinner in the Heinz-Kerry home?

Did anybody ever confirm that they spent Memorial Day weekend together? That rumor was going around, and I know Clark was in DC for the memorial at the wall....

2. The Real Deal X 2!
I like that! It's in the stars, it MUST be true. I like reading my daily Horoscope and most of the time it's spot on. That's about all I know about Astrology though.

That chart looked so complicated. I only hope it's true!

Niiiiiice Pics. :loveya:

Go Wes!

3. Pretty busy 8th House ....
Tr. Sun, Sat, Mercury, Mars ranging through natal Saturn and North Node

Although this is a personal chart, it is interesting to note that the 8th house in mundane terms, according to Tyl, can also denote "presidential advisors." Also, financial relations with foreign countries--(how interesting that Wes was just over in Romania, Ukraine and also at the Int'l Chamber of Commerce hobnobbing with the Trade Minister of the EU....)

I like this little blurb from Robertson on the Saturn in the 8th house in the personal chart: "A person very careful in business or investments. He must learn patience in everything he does. He must also, often, try to live with things that are not spectacular in nature but can be built solidly over long periods of time and must be nutured step by step and with efforts that would make others impatient with them....." (LOL, how true!)

With Saturn transiting it's own position, an indication that "the time has come for the individual to break free of situations that have bound him from the past....he may have an identity crisis, but if he builds on what he has learned from the past he will probably pass through the period with little trouble except inner change which will make him a
NEW PERSON. ...The important thing that is happening is an opportunity for him to get a new view of himself in light of changing realities that now surround him."

Note also...transiting Pluto through the 1st house occupied by Mars.
Both have Scorpio/8th house ties.....so, not only will there be internal changes, but powerful changes in public (1st House--what is presented to the public in terms of image, etc.) Pluto was hanging around within a degree or so last Feb.- May (2003) then moved off...but
came back in range around December 2003 until about Feb. 2004.....
then started back into range the beginning of June.................

5. You give me too much credit, but...
I stand by my earlier prediction that Clark would be shining now, especially a few weeks ago, and if the decision was in fact made then.. well.. ;)

quite serious.
I'm not one of them - but, heck, I've never even been in the Lounge. Wouldn't know what to do there. :)

11. Bashing the beliefs of others is something the other camp does
I would think those at DU would be a bit more tolerant.

18. Hey now!
I have a great sense of judgement - but since I actually have to work, take care of a 5 year old, clean house, push mow an acre of land once a week and, shit, cook (I think) I'm damn lucky I even KNOW where DU is!
Maybe I need to go to the Lounge, but I'm too damn tired to walk over there!

:D

14. Tolerant? Only when it's their favorite the planets are lining up for.
Otherwise it's pure touchy-feely artsy-fartsy superstitious nonsense.

16. By "beliefs" do you mean religion?
Do you find that astrology is a religion? Is that what you are trying to use as part of your argument?

31. Personally, no...
Edited on Sat Jun-19-04 10:27 AM by Wife_of_a_Wes_Freak
I don't put much stock in the stars and planets, but I do know some who are quite dedicated to the practice of astrology. Religion for some is a faith-based belief system which guides their actions and offers them guidance for their daily life. I think if some choose God while others choose the planets, they have the right to do so without ridicule.

But I did say "beliefs" and not religion. For many, there is a distinction between the two. I wouldn't consider same-sex marriage to be a religion, but I believe in it. See the difference?

17. It doesn't belong in The Lounge
It belongs in The Meeting Room, where the astrology buffs hang out.

But the upset over this is amusing, I must say.

look at don king, he supports Bush and was in jail. I am sure Ted Bundy if he were still on Death Row would be head of Death Row Crooks for Bush and the same with Gacy except for Kerry.

That said, Clark is still a strong candidate for veep; Kerry would be foolish not to have him on the short list.
