Subject: The Wal-Mart tapes. How much would the DLC pay to NOT have them shown?

>snip> The archive also includes footage of Hillary Clinton, who served on Wal-Mart's board from 1986 to 1992, praising the company to the skies – a position she has since sought to mute.

"I'm so proud of this company and everything it represents," Mrs Clinton said at a store opening in Arkansas in 1991. "It makes me feel real good about what we've been able to do."

The archive came to light when Ms Breneman, the Kansas City lawyer in the gasoline can case, stumbled on an internet job posting from an ex-Flagler worker citing experience with a library of Wal-Mart videotapes. Not knowing what the tapes might contain, she subpoenaed the lot. <unsnip<

She was on the board from 1986 to 1992. I'd love to see the footage of her
championing unions and promoting health care!

1. I doubt they'd pay anything, since no one cares about stupid crap
like this.

Except for the usual shit smearers, of course...

3. anyone who cares about union busting or outsourcing or tax subsidies
going to mega-corps to create under living wage jobs had better care about this. Not to mention the viability of small business, localism, the environment, and basic human rights. What's "shit" is praising a company that embodies some of the worst of crony capitalism and "Free, not Fair" trade.

4. nobody gives a shit because this video was from 17 years ago
Sam was still alive and Walmart was a different company. Not to mention the biggest employer in the state her husband was Governor of.

Get real.

This election isn't about some out of context video from 17 years ago.

2. Oh, I'd make an enjoyable afternoon out of it.
I like to watch TV while I shit-stir.

Bet you could use one of these while YOU work, too!
