once again get the brunt of his fucking her over. I have defended this man at many rwing family Thanksgivings and now to see him so power hungry makes me reel.

He, HE, will be the last nail in Hillary's campaign. I think he is angry at the GOP, but more at himself. To see her succeed is tearing him apart and to see an awesome candidate like, Barack Obama, speak so eloquently about issues that Bill Clinton only wished he could have made, makes his blood boil. Bill Clinton definitely has issues and yes, after the cigar thing I should have known, but he was my "Reagan" and nobody was gonna dog the "Big Dog."

I'm so disappointed now. I think I'll skip the next family holiday dinner. I don't like eating crow.

Wow, just wow.

President Bill was because he will be a hell of a lot better.

After impeachment, blue-stained dresses, and yes, *cough* cigars, I can only hope, Obama won't be anything like Bill. It has definitely set the Democrats back...

4. Well I sure hope he won't do
half the things that Bill Clinton did, anyway.

NAFTA
Introducing Extraordinary Rendition (one of my faves! You must be so proud!)
Bidding adieu to a slew of Dems in the Senate and the House (GREAT for the party! Go Bill!)

3. "to see an awesome candidate like, Barack Obama, speak so eloquently about issues"
Yet he keeps sticking his foot in his mouth and then has to come out with another speech to explain his his previous words.

8. Some people don't see when they've just been suckered into a trap.
"I don’t think people are bitter..." Really?

Let's just leave that up to the people. Do you want to do that? Can we simply let the people decide if they feel bitter after the eight years of, and believe me, I can think of a lot stronger words than "bitter".

10. I was mad at Bill along with many others
Edited on Sat Apr-12-08 03:59 AM by Blue_Roses
but for the sake of the party, I defended him to the hilt. Mad, yes, you damn right I was mad. I was so damn mad at him I could have snatched him bald, but mainly I felt for Hillary and Chelsea.

Now, I'm just disgusted. It's no longer about "obedience" to the Clintons, but what will move this fucked-up nation out the rut it's been sittin' in for so many years. Obama seems to be the one who can start the change, but he's DEAD ON that WE have to help do our part. That's what I like about him. Telling us to get our off our fat asses and do something to improve our lives. (of course he didn't say this verbatim, but have to make that clear on a hit-n-run-board like this).

What could have been...

What WILL be with perseverance:D

13. Bill was overall a good president ...

Overall, Bill was a good president with a few real serious stink balls. I think we all rightfully defended the man based on his merits and a trumped up impeachment charge. It was seedy ... but irrelevant.

I think it's time to put all that behind us. Let's EVOLVE from the Clintons. Lets find someone with all of Bill's strengths and none of his weaknesses. Let's elect Barack Obama.

6. I think Bill Clinton is angry because Obama
keeps lying about Clinton's record. The latest lie Obama told was this one:

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter..."

Jobs didn't fall in Pennsylvania during Bill Clinton's two terms. Jobs were created. Obama is misinformed, or he's outright lying.

14. Ummm
Where were those jobs? Mostly in the more urban areas.

What did Bill Clinton do for small town America? The towns hit by the manufacturing moving overseas.

Just curious?

7. For months he's reminded me of a little league dad
On tilt, while trying to defend a loved one. If this were his campaign he'd be taking it more in stride, no unseemly desperation.

I'm convinced Bill Clinton respects Obama but is livid at the turn of events, certain Hillary would make the superior president. That type of big picture, one-shot deal would never allow me to act calmly and rationally, once defeat was all but inevitable.
