notice also in some polls that Kerry's numbers have been going down since IA. There is still alot of work to be done and one of the most important things is to question Kerry's positions until you understand them well enough to be able to honestly answer any question about him that anyone ask you or to refute some of the repug disinformation campaign. That'll do more to get Kerry elected than most of the crap some of the folks here do to insult, ridicule, or harrass their fellow dems into voting Kerry. This doesn't work as all the polls together listed in the link above show.

1. Who said he was leading in all the polls?

He's leading in MOST of the recent ones, and the leads in the Gallup and L.A. Times poll are outside the margin of error. I believe this is the first time Kerry has been that far in ahead in two polls about the same time since the primaries. I think that's pretty damn good for a guy who hasn't even picked his veep, has been out of the news for the most part, and has been badly outspent. He's only getting started.
