Bill at EJ Fundraiser: "You did not come here in vain"
"You did not come here in vain," he said, flanked by his wife and daughter, Chelsea. "She can win the nomination and if she wins the nomination, she'll win the general election."

Damn that is a depressing statement...what was he thinking? Is this really the sort of thing Hillary supporters want to hear from Bill? I think he has really lost his touch.

3. All I know is that is NOT what I want to hear from my candidate
especially at a fundraiser. Then I would think that it is over.

You know the saying...the lady doth protest too much, methinks

10. how about the rest of the article?
"The Colombia free trade deal, in my view, is not appropriate because of the history of suppression and targeted killings of labor organizers in Colombia," she added. "There is an argument that there has been some improvement and change by the Colombian government, but it is not enough for me."

The former president, appearing at a Manhattan steakhouse before the fundraiser celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Northern Irish peace accord, refused to answer reporters' questions about the topic.

"I'm here for the Irish," said Clinton, when asked about his position on the deal. His face reddened when a journalist asked if he regretted taking the money in Colombia.

12. It would be fascinating to know if his race reddened in embarrassment or anger
It could be either - but it would be nice to know which. (It would be could to know that he has enough conscience to be embarrassed.

4. Absolutely true
BO is still carrying around the Wright baggage and there is still that lingering Muslim connection along with Michelle's patriotism. Yeah, facts are funny things that don't go away.

7. Nice try
covering ones ass with smart alec remarks says plenty about your anger toward others. Smart little quips like yours is what make for good conversation when head shrinks try to figure out anger and hatefulness.

8. A little too optimistic, perhaps, but well-put. Probably effective...
...coming from Bill. I just think the looked-for miracles won't materialize.
