I bet ya some Feb 5 states regret pushing their primaries so early

Yep, he who laughs last, laughs best. All the attention is now on the 10 remaining states or so. They have more clout than the Feb 5 states.

1. Don't know about Feb 5 states but I know of two states that really regret moving their primaries up.

5. Especially when, as fate would have it, they would have been incredibly important

in deciding the candidate. Both states would have been huge battleground states, with tons of cash helping the local economies.

They have a point in that most races are over before showing up at their doors, but that's not always the case.

With six weeks of almost exclusive attention, Pennsylvania is getting a windfall from campaign spending.

10. Oregon almost moved up their primary

but decided against it. I'm glad they didn't. Now we are getting so much attention from the candidates and our primary actually will count for something.

It goes without saying that some of the other states should have stuck with their primary date.

Iowa was still the most influential state of all of them this year.

It's always better to be either first or last, anything in between is just the next one.
