If people put you on 'ignore' two bad things happen from the Clinton point of view;

1) They stop listening to you and therefore you have no chance of persuading them.

2) They no longer waste their time answering you and are now free to do more productive things - like make telephone calls for Obama in PA.

So it makes no sense to incentivize adding you to 'ignore' lists.

They should be rewarding you for the number of posts that Obama supporters make to you and the number of people you are able to take off of 'ignore'.
