Immediately after the debate as the candidates went backstage, GHW Bush commented, "We kicked ass tonight!"

Immediately, the Democrats picked up on this and decided it was a sexist comment, suggesting that "ass" was a reference similar in nature to "a piece of ass". As much as I hated Bush, I had to laugh. "Kicking ass" has been in the sports vernacular for decades in which neither party -- the kicker or the kickee -- was female.

Let's settle down and get back to the issues. Like who's the better bowler.
