The McCain Problem (Yes he might Win)
Edited on Thu Apr-03-08 02:08 AM by rockthevote2006
Boston Globe Op-Ed:

"AN ALARMING number of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton supporters are telling pollsters they won't support the Democratic ticket if their candidate doesn't win the party's nomination. This, my friends, could mean four more years of Bushist backwardness.

Look before you jump. Democrats thinking of voting for John McCain should ask themselves if they want a hot-tempered, right-wing Republican in the White House - keeping his foot on the gas in Iraq, sentencing women to illegal abortions, and pouring cement around President Bush's tax cuts for the rich."

My Conclusion: Let us stop this Obama/Clinton feud and unite together. If we do not unite, McCain wins.
Be smart, my fellow Dems. Let's not self-destruct.

1. I won't unite anything until they count my vote!
and until they count my states votes and delegates..seating is not counting our votes.

Count our votes or i will vote for mickey mouse in Nov!

its very simple..

others can have opinions about us losing our votes, but until you have had your vote stolen from you, you have no idea what it is like on the outside looking into democracy.

When Guam counts and my vote doesn't i have a problem with the so called rule makers!

2. Relax
There's no way the Democratic Party is gonna risk alienating MI and FL by not seating their delegates in some fashion at the convention. Dean just booked hotel rooms for FL.

4. no i won't relax we are being told they will seat the delegates not count our delegates
for the nomination of the nominee..that won't work ..not for me or for the voters of my state.

You can give away your vote if you want..i won't give mine up without a damn good fight.

I own my vote..no one else does.

5. Well I hope for your sake and the sake of all in MI and FL
that the delegates get counted. Dean's listed a couple of ways that can happen. I think that the only way they might not get counted is if Hillary stays in to the convention and battles it out there. Then anything goes and at that point MI and FL will probably be the least of our worries since nobody will have to vote according to the way We The People actually voted in the primaries/caucuses.

9. As in "our time"?
I hope not. I have real concerns about who is actually included in that "our time".

Those excluded may well vote McCain. Or vote holding their noses because they are wise enough to know that any democrat is an improvement over the GOP.

Barack and Hill will run together. The party will unite. If you listen closely to what they are saying now... you can almost hear who will be responsible for what part of the mess GWB is leaving them with.

The only decision to be made, if there is any at all, is who will be Prez. or VP. I think we know that already: Obama/Clinton. And I'm pretty happy with the way it's shaping up. But I am fine with Clinton/Obama as`well.

We are getting an inkling, also, about cabinet choices. All Gore: Sec'y of the Interior? John Edwards: Atty. General?

It's shaping up to be a GREAT year for us Dems. As long as somebody doesn't come in and blow it with a rogue VP pick.

:woohoo: Barack

:woohoo: Hillary

:woohoo: Al

:woohoo: John (E. not Mc.)

:woohoo: Big Dawg on da back porch!
