Candidates education plans?
I have to concede that I don't have a metric that I could show to everyone, but to me at least, it seems like the issue of educational plans at the elementary and secondary level(beyond repealing No Child left behind) seems to have taken a back seat compared to some other issues (at least in terms of what I hear from the candidates in the MSM), but during this large stretch, isn't this something that the candidates can be pushing more, to distinguish between themselves and John McCain. Or is it just that they ARE talking about it frequently on campaign stops but the media simply isn't reporting it, I don't know

1. I believe it is part of both of their platforms. I remember seeing it on both their websites
and they answer the questions to the effect of their platforms when asked. MSM doesn't play substance, just hype-worthy nonsense. They cut away from both of their speeches before the substance of the platform comes.

2. Obama's positions on public education are quite
Republican.

He supports merit pay for teachers and is open to further privatizing of public education.

That takes him off this teacher's table.

HRC? I don't think her positions on public education are as bad; she has other more serious negatives.
