Poll question: Will scheduled turnover of control in Iraq on 6/30 help Bush?
Apparently Bush is going to explain tonight how the turn over of Iraq to Iraqi control (puppet control?) on 6/30 will be a major step and lessen the US risk in Iraq. Do you think this will be the case?

3. It'll give him a momentary bounce in the polls...
you know, he'll have a few photo ops, he'll stumble through a few speeches, and he'll gain 5ish points in the polls for about a week -- until the forgetful are reminded that what Bush says is incompatible with reality.

4. I believe.,.............
there will be a spate of attacks to correspond with this token gesture. Just a hunch on my part, but I wouldn't be surprised to see increased terrorist activity during that period. Bush won't get ANY bounce out of this, well, maybe a bounce downward.
Disclaimer: I do not have ANY information to back this assertion Mr. Ashcroft, it's just a wild guess. ;-)

5. The speech will give everyone more to criticize
and that is a good thing.
