Why would/ who would donate to the Hillary campaign now?
It's basically over. Sure, stay in and prove that you can go the distance, even if you know you can't win. I've seen gutsy boxers do it and earn respect for it. But this is not the headliner, this is the prelim. I think lack of money will sink her campaign before she is ready to quit.

1. How much did she lend her campaign? Will she stay in until that can be paid?
If so, I would kick in a few bucks toward the 'Pay back her loan if she will go away' fund

4. I don't think so, It was my understanding that she is actually $2 million in the red if you count
up all her outstanding debt and the $5 million she owes herself

Not that I am an expert

29. Nope, she still owes herself $5 million and a whole bunch of other folks $8.7 million
at least that's through February 29th

31. That's what I thought. Thanks for link
Can't recall the talking head who commented a few weeks ago that HRC had to keep running because of the debts. Seems a fools errand now. Continuing the run costs big and she isn't getting the bucks now.

Personally, I don't want a president who will pay millions to the likes of Penn and then keep doing some foolish, expensive endeavor just to try to make the money up. More evidence of very questionable judgment.

33. Considering she is behind in paying many small vendors, she'd better not have.
There are a few threads on what I'm talking about.

5. Unfortunately for Hillary ...
... that is the truth of the matter.

People are more than happy to back what they perceive to be the winning horse in the race. But once you become a long-shot - or worse, the inevitable "also ran" - the money dries up accordingly.

I just hope, for the sake of those who are owed money by the Hill campaign (especially the smaller business people), she will honour her debts before she continues to fund a race she cannot win.

with an apostrophe. Just as lower case letters and (according to some style guides) numerals are pluralized with an apostrophe.

14. Yes there is
Plural of Letters, Numbers, Symbols, and Words Named as Words

Add an apostrophe and s to form plurals of letters, numbers, symbols, and words named as words.

Watch your p’s and q’s.
Does your answer have two 4’s or two 5’s?
How many %’s do you want on the report card form?
Three Nabokov’s on the web site were spelled incorrectly.

7. who wants to be the last contributor to a futile campaign?
The fact that Bill and Hillary are both talking about keeping on makes me suspect that they are having donation problems.

Once supporters begin to think there is a possibility to quit then they stop contributing.

If I were a cynic, I'd say for the same reason that people continue to give money to faith healers like Benny Hinn - They're suckers.

But I'm not a cynic. I just play one on DU. ;)

That way you can be sure they get paid and Hill doesn't fritter it away.

28. Hopefully to help her pay her outstanding 120 day old debts
Please send her money earmarked to pay her Iowa debts.

Better yet, send money directly to the vendors and ask that a receipt be sent to the Clinton camp to show your in kind contribution.
