I liked Biden initially, settled on Edwards in December, and ended up with Hillary by the time my primary happened (it was down to two).

Obama *MIGHT* get my vote ... but it's not a sure thing by any stretch of the imagination (as long as there are write-ins). There's still no way in Hell I'd vote for Clinton. She has done NOTHING to earn my vote.

In 2004, after his speech at the Democratic Convention, I looked over at my husband and said: "That man is going to be our next President." Well, after Bush. lol I was never very confident in a Kerry victory, sadly. I wanted it, but I knew that RoveCo would have its way.

Hillary and Obama were my two least favorite, and I support Barack now because he was my next to least favorite ( with HRC at the bottom). This whole race as it is now, is sickening, and I fear it will hand the GE to McCain in a landslide. ( I have had some standing bets for a couple of years now that if she were to be the nominee, we'd lose; now I fear that her gutter level attacks on Obama will result in the same--and remember, I am a reluctant, not enthusiastic Obama supporter).

plus the MSM knows a true threat to corporate interests when they see one, and their intentional marginalizing of him was criminal...but since most voters, even Democrats, are not as informed as we are here, most people will vote for whoever they see on their TV every night. Its telling that among a population that pays closer attention than just name recognition from the network news, Edwards had such a higher level of support. What a loss to our country that Edwards, or any of the other highly qualified, but shut out of media coverage candidates we had, were shoved aside for two of our weakest ( in my opinion ) candidates.

What we have left are the two I favored least from the start.

I was all for Gore, but he didn't run. Then I was all for Edwards and he got driven out. Now I'm for Gore again because of the brokered convention talk.

Looking at the results of this poll makes it even more clear how INSANE the talk in GD : P is. We have supporters of two candidates over there tearing the whole place down, when there two candidates together have not garnered the support of Edwards in this poll. Then when you add in all the other people who were for someone besides these two it just gets worse. Sad.

Kucinich, even though he didn't have a chance in hell, Edwards, and my third choice fluctuated between Dodd (standing up for the Constitution), Richardson (the minimum wage for teachers should be $40K a year and NCLB should be scrapped) and Biden.

Neither of the two remaining candidates have yet replaced him. They sure aren't working very hard for my progressive/populist vote. I doubt that either of them will speak out against the corporate corruption with real solutions. I don't see either one helping us take our government back. We need a major shake-up from top to bottom, not another band-aid approach. We needed Edwards to kick the corporate bums out of our government. It will be obvious if either of the two candidates remaining will go that direction, because that would be all they would be talking about...THE ISSUES! LIKE POVERTY! LIKE ENDING THE WAR!
