2. An end to the constant bickering on here.
Why are you posting yet another poll so that someone can come in and imply that it is a sin that Clark will win yet another one?

9. No one thinks it's a sin.
We just all know why he wins, something his supporters get rather prickly about when it's mentioned...

14. The ONLY reason Clark always wins
Is because more DUers who respond to polls like Clark best for VP.

Any other "explanation" implies we don't belong here as much as anyone else. That's what makes us "prickly."

But fwiw, Clark is moving up in the other polls too. A lot of it is simple exposure--thank you, Senator Kerry--as we always said would happen. But part is that DUers aren't the only people beginning to see how important national defense (and perceptions about national defense) will be in the November election.

15. No.

The reason Clark wins is because 'the troops' made a beachead here and essentially seized DU by virtue of overwhelming numbers last fall. It has damned little to do with merit, and everything to do with arithmetic...

THAT'S why Clark wins every poll.

20. Wow, imagine that
Clark started a campaign and many of his supporters on the internet came to DU.

So fucking what.

How are people supposed to come to DU? You make it sound like an invasion of a sovereign nation. This is a goddam internet message board and people join when it comes to their attention that it might be interesting, and stay so long as it remains so.

Get this straight. Members of DU like Clark. Period. Being here before the campaign season started doesn't make you or anyone else any more a member than the guy or gal who joined yesterday. Got it?

22. For the umpteenth time,
there is absolutely no reason whatsoever why supporters of other candidates cannot do the exact same thing.

12. When will you hear Richardson's voice?
He's said repeatedly that he's not interested.

Besides, any "Democrat" who calls Sean Hannazi his "friend" should be viewed with suspicion. Especially when he's on FAUX as often as Holy Joe and Evan the rotten apple who fell FAR to the right of the tree.

10. Reminds me of primary season
No matter how many polls you take, it was going to be Clark/Dean. Now, it'll be 1) Clark and 2) Edwards

Veep whispers

Word is that Gen. Wesley Clark was to be joining Sen. John Kerry on the return flight to Washington from Kerry's Little Rock campaign stop. He'll be meeting with Kerry at Kerry's Georgetown home. Could that mean discussions about the No. 2 spot on the Kerry ticket? Clark's new PAC to support Democratic campaign efforts couldn't hurt his standing.
