11. Where I Vote You Are Asked Your Preference...
The last two elections I've been a poll watcher for our local democratic commitee and we recommend the paper ballots to voters. It not only leaves a trail, but you don't need to wait for a machine so it's faster.

Any bets on who wins the paper ballots vs who gets the most machine votes? :tinfoilhat:

30. I have a bad feeling
Our corrupt governor was head over heels involved with the Peter Paul scandal. The tape of him advising Paul & Co how Hillary wanted the funding done to escape federal financing laws was all over the original suit/case (where Clinton was fined $35,000).

I don't trust the system here at all.

38. We in Philadelphia have what I would call a "touch pad" type machine.
http://www.phillyelection.com/engweb.htm

No screen. Just raised buttons with lights next to them and the name/question next to the button. The machines produce a long strip of a paper with a record of votes tallied from the machine.

29. Exactly
Dry up the cash cow and she'll fold like a cheap suit. Hell it ain't nearly as much fun running for president if you have to stay at the Motel 6 and eat cheese sandwiches three meals a day.

32. I think you have that one right, but it would be nice if the folks in PA
choose to bring this to a close. They have an opportunity to do just that - end the whole shebang and have the final word - or they can keep the ugliness going for a few more weeks. If was anything except a die hard Hillary supporter voting in PA - I'd be voting to bring it to a close.

the uncertaintly out of it. They are charged, supposedly, with protecting the party not Pennsylvania.

16. That's the super delegates delemma. They have to step up and tilt the field and save the party
or they have to wait on the voters before they give it to Obama.

The Dems need Carter to stand up and condemn the race and religion baiting as well as the Clinton endorsements of McCain. Then Biden should speak out against the endorsements and Gore should too. And Pelosi. And Boxer should switch votes.

It's time for the party to signal that they think it's over for Clinton and that they aren't happy with her destructive behavior.

14. How do we get the word out?
Us political junkies on DU get it.

But how many folks in PA (or anywhere) pay as much attention as us?

How do we get the word out to the good folks of PA, that we have already a nominee on points, and the sooner we end this craziness --- the sooner we go on to beat McBush!

In no way did I mean to leave out resident PA DUer's good efforts. :applause:

As a Washington state resident, I won't be joining you over there --- but I did give $$$ to the Obama campaign the night of his "A More Perfect Union" speech.

21. So if Pennsylvania doesn't vote they way you would like then they are doing the wrong thing
The arrogance of the Obama camp is remarkable. The only nightmare here is that Obama people feel like they are entitled to the Presidency.

And you call Obama supporters arrogant when "your girl" was the one who had the sense of entitlement surrounding her as if she had a tiara and a scepter.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if she completely lost Pennsylvania, there is no doubt in my mind that Hillary Clinton would continue to drag this out.

She only cares about 2012 now.

31. We're going to give it a hell of a go.
Obama is only down by 10 with a little less than a month to go and his ads have hit the radio and Tv with none from Clinton. He's going to take Philly and hopefully that translates into taking the state.
