Can we possibly elect someone to the Democratic Party that
has insulted and belittled about every Typical White Person in America? If so Vote BO as your candidate for the GE. See the Dems go down again and stay with the same old crap that we are living in today.

Every white Democrat I know is voting for Obama.

13. Voting for HRC is the SAME as voting for Nixon in '72.
She's embraced the racial views and the paranoid style of Democrats for Nixon.

15. Where do you think Obama learned how to use the homophobia card from?
He had to adapt his use of the race card to his unique situation but he used the same tactic on homophobia that Nixon did with race: wink and nod to bigots that he is on their side while publicly claiming to oppose bigotry of that nature.

16. McClurkin was a mistake. It wasn't a deliberate appeal to homophobia.
And it was trivial compared to DOMA and DADT. Obama admitted he should've checked out McClurkin better. IF HRC had done the same thing, you'd have let it go weeks ago.

And nobody that was in the Don't Ask, Don't Tell/DOMA Administration has any right to claim to be gay-friendly.

And you never said a word when they did THOSE betrayals.

Plus, who are you to lecture anybody about any sort of prejudice when your avatar treated Native Americans like Hitler treated Jews?

After the campaign she's run.

14. Obama is the one who divided young from old, straight from gay
As to race we have been over that many times and Obamites can never admit that a campaign telling superdelegates of the same color to vote for their candidate based on color isn't racist. If that can't be done we can never reach the other instances of Obama's campaign, which is the most racist since Reagan in 1980.

Clinton does well with young voters against McCain. The only group she has trouble is with blacks. Obama's problems are far deeper and greater.

Obama attacked all whites as well as baby boomers. Stupid. Attack the largest racial group, 3 out of 4 voters, and the largest age group. Then there is Obama working to disenfranchise 10% of the nation during the primaries.

28. I asked first.
:P

Ok, I'm nice about these things....

I think both sides see the other as the root of all evil within this race without having the guts to look within and see themselves, leading to a lot of useless hate and negativity all because their egos don't allow room for them to admit they might be part of the problem instead of actually caring about the issues confronting us all.

Your turn.

29.  I was for Obama, after Edwards dropped out, then this board, the only
board that I have participated in since 2001 turned into a hate Hillary site. These folk have thrown every right wing talking point they could dig up at her. She is has always been for the Dems, but to stop by here and read this crap about her, you would think she and Bill were trying to hurt and destroy the Dems as far back as his first term. I just don't care to follow along with a group or anyone that will destroy someone that has been a hero to many and a person that wants to build up our country after Bush has destroyed our reputation around the world. BO's supporters have are the harshest I have ever encountered. They have no respect or thankfulness for what the Clinton have done for our Country. They seem to be selfish and think they deserve what ever they want. I don't know maybe it is their youth and lack of historical knowledge.

30. Ok, thanks for the honest reply.
I was a Kucinich fan, then Edwards, now nobody. What I've seen is that both sides have gone out of their way to ignore the good things both have done, and can still do, in favor of total trashing. Please don't take this wrong way, but I'm stunned that anyone can see this as coming from just one side.

I also know from firsthand experience that the 90's weren't all that for those with the least among us. Those on the bottom saw little or no change, numbers be damed. I personally know all too many that saw no change. And all things are relative...compared to Bush things were fucking awesome...compared to what things SHOULD be they weren't even close. That gap is and was real.

In your post here though you're becoming part of the problem.

They seem to be selfish and think they deserve what ever they want.

Yes, some sure do. As do some Hillary supporters. Again, this is hardly confined to just Obama supporters. There were even a few Kucinich fans I thought were fools. Imagine how many there would be if he had gone further (and don't get me wishing and dreaming!!!)

I don't know maybe it is their youth and lack of historical knowledge.

That's a cheap ploy to downplay Obama supporters...and ageist (a pet peeve at 40 years old). I find that many people younger than I seem to have a hell of a better grasp on the situation we're in, not only as a country but as a planet, than almost all of us that are older. I also know that many are a hell of a lot smarter than we think, and instead of downplaying their presence I welcome it, whether their choice is Obama, Hillary, or even that smeghead McCain. They're our future, like it or not. I like it.

Lastly, if we can harp on those younger than us does that mean that anyone 41 years or older than me is automatically correct, or that their life experiences are more "valid" than anyone else's? I sure as Hell don't think so. Young or old, we're all as good as our beliefs, and older people have no lock on sanity by any stretch.

You seem to still be locked into this "us against them" thing that helps no one. Not Hillary. Not Obama. And certainly not the rest of the world. When you can see that both candidates are pretty much the same, that both groups of supporters are pretty much the same, then we can really get down to the nitty gritty of human nature. ;)

Thanks again though for your answer, and I hope we can all move past this bitterness that has engulfed so many here when the chips are down.
