Please, CNN:Candy-ASS Crowley doesn't think Passport gate is a "scandal,"
She just "doesn't understand it" in her own words.

4. It was a big story when it was about Obama, and Clinton was being blamed.
Keith Olbermann ran a 60 minute commercial free hysterical Obama comercial when the story broke.
Then the rest of the story came out. Some chuckleheads playing with 'search', no info leaked.
NBD.

33. I used to like Olbermann.
Unfortunately, he now acts like an overmedicated bulldog. He's ranting are way too off base to be taken seriously and his obsession with Bill O'Reilly is sad. Not that I like O'Reilly, but enough already!!

10. Here - one contractor's CEO was Obama supporter; other was Hillary supporter
Of course, those are just the CEOs, not the people actually doing the snooping. I kind of agree with Crowley that there isn't a conspiracy to this. If it was just one candidate, it might be. But not this.

11. it isn't a scandal, or a big deal...
it's just a case of human nature- people with access will "snoop" out of curiosity.
i've worked for a credit card company, and as a reservationist with a major airline...when it's slow, people start looking up celebrity names...it's human nature.
certainly nothing scandalous.

14. What is the big deal? Hospital workers checked out Britneys records
these workers looked at famous peoples passport stuff, so what?

The only way to put a stop to this is to make all records inaccessible to any human being.

24. And there is more personal information in Obama's files than the average persons file.
Questions are being asked as to how Hillary knew about certain travels of Obama's when Obama told no one. It's here on DU.

29.  Chief of firm involved in breach is Obama adviser

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.

Analysis Corp. President John Brennan, shown here in 2004, advises Barack Obama, a source tells CNN.

John O. Brennan, president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., advises the Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source said.

The source said there has been no problem in the past with the Analysis Corp. employee, who has "extensive" experience. The worker has been with the company for years and has always worked under a State Department contract.

Explaining that the department had "complimented" this person for work in the past, the source said the individual is considered a "terrific" employee, except for this one instance, characterized as an "aberration."

The department asked the Analysis Corp. not to take any administrative action against the employee while the investigation is under way.

On Friday, the company released a statement saying it would fully cooperate with the federal investigation. The source said the Analysis Corp. has told the employee to do the same.

funny thing, if this was hillary's advisor this place would go ballistic.

Echoing the State Department spokesman Friday, this source said there is no indication the motivation was anything but idle curiosity.

The source said the Analysis Corp. first learned of its employee's actions Friday morning when it received a call from the State Department. In its statement, the firm confirmed that one of the contractors was an employee and called it "an isolated incident."

CEO of one of the firms (whose contractor did some of the snooping) is an Obama advisor. I don't think this is going away soon. :eyes:

23. Here's my thoughts
I bet an employee tried telling the Bush administration of a security breach. But no one listened. A common occurrence in the Bush admin. as we have heard of so many times.
So they had no alternative but to go to the media. Another occurrence we have seen often in the bush administration. This is when the employees were fired. After going to the media.

Not much or any different than the blame passed to the soldiers for the Abu Gharib tortures.

Dobbs was yukking it up with his panel about this too yesterday.
CNN has always been bad, but the last week or so they are so way over the top. Every 10th word slams Obama in some way. Disgusting creatures.
