***NEWS MEDIA DESPERATE: When will they get a FUCKING Clue?***
Obama gave a speech to the nation on the serious issue of Race and how we should have a conversation about it. And then, maybe out of shame and embarrassment, these "don't have a fucking Clue" Pundit heads continue with more of the same; "GOTCHA's"--

So Obama said "Typical White".......and that's like an impeachable offense..... :wow:

These News heads are so fucking clueless, until I simply turned my TeeVee off, and started playing Will.I. Am's "Yes, we can" on my computer. Now, I'm much more relaxed.

But still, I have something to say to these pinheads nevertheless:

"LOOK, DO WE HAVE TO DRAW YOU A FUCKING PICTURE?
DON'T MAKE THE NEWS,
REPORT THE NEWS
AND STOP BEATING TO DEATH WHAT REALLY DOESN'T COUNT.
THIS ELECTION AIN'T ABOUT YOU PUNDIT KNOW NOTHINGS
AND YOUR DUMB ASS UN-INSIGHTFUL BIASED ASS ANALYSIS,
THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT US.

As the TYPICAL LEFT WING LIBERAL BLOGGER
and the daughter of a TYPICAL WHITE mother,
and a TYPICAL BLACK father,
I give the media a TYPICAL and hearty FUCK YOU!"

1. THANK YOU for giving voice to my own rage ...
I'm PROUD TO BE A TYPICAL WHITE PERSON who takes NO OFFENSE at what he said.

The media at this point are confirming that they are, in actuality, a crib full of
2-year-olds.

7. No problem!
Really.....there is so much more that they could be doing to inform us, instead of trying to manipulate us...that what they do should be a crime.

3. Have you seen this petition from MoveOn???
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 06:29 PM by polichick
Dear MoveOn member,

This week, Barack Obama gave one of the most honest and inspiring speeches on race in American history after weathering days of the media's relentless, divisive, and racially charged attacks. But have you wondered where these attacks came from and why they dominated the news?

Reporters like NBC's Tim Russert focused on the "Reverend Wright controversy" only after FOX and other right-wing media did. It happens over and over: FOX airs a right-wing smear and the mass media repeat it. Film director Robert Greenwald just released a short video called FOX Attacks Obama: Part 2 which shows how it happens.

We launched a petition demanding the big networks stop parroting FOX and distracting Americans from real issues. Now's the last chance to sign—we'll hand-deliver your signatures to major media outlets next week. Watch the video, and sign the petition, here:

<http://www.moveon.org/r?r=3495&id=12364-3040984-oqnP.m&t=434>

The petition, which we launched with Greenwald's Brave New Films, says: "FOX is a Republican mouthpiece, not a legitimate news organization. Real news organizations must reject FOX's smears of Barack Obama, not parrot them and distract Americans from the pressing issues of the day." The more signatures we deliver, the bigger the impact—so please tell your friends. (continued)

13. Yes.....Thank you,
All who read this post should sign that petition!

They don't know it yet, but the last election was the last election
that this media controlled.

We have the money, the numbers, the technology and the issues on our side.

They already come to us for their news as it is....how else could they talk about some funky "Snubgate" for like 2 days? No other way.

But what is worse....is that the stories that they harvest from us are the stupidest ones that they can find. That's what sickening....they don't even have the good ethics of at least ripping off the stories from the bloggers that are actually important.

4. Recommended for the great graphic.
Pretty well sums up my feelings about the media on most days.

Oh and I'm not "typical" anything (as far as I can tell) but I don't get the feeding frenzy around the word. Other than "we got nothing, so we'll try to make something out of nothing".

6. The only TV news source I watch is Bloomberg. Since 2000 I boycotted the other slim
they don't report news, they are entertainment for morans

Actually, I think it is even more insidious

The media has their share of responsibility for the Iraq war, and it is not in their interest to have the candidates focus on the issues that WILL affect people, but to create a distraction, so they can continue the same BS

I only hope people wake up to the con game being perpetrated against them by the corporate media

9. Why do so many here support them?
By listening to them, quoting them, linking to them, we do nothing but give them credibility.

As someone who gets the vast majority of my news from the LA Times, PBS, BBC and NPR, I have to say I haven't even heard of most of the media people that are talked about around here.

I wouldn't know who Keith Olbermann was if i woke up in bed with him one morning. And he, I guess, is or was one of the "good guys" who just happens to get his bread and butter from the MSM.

I recognize that there is concern about how they influence the general electorate, but why do we continue give them any credence at all?

10. Frenchiecat, I know this may not help right now but the truth is that
the longer they keep this illusion of a horse race going, the more money the media makes from ads and ratings. And the more relevant the Chris Matthews believe themselves to be. For the media, this is not about truth or justice or even the good of the nation--it is about money.

We are the change we seek. One person at a time.

That's why we have to come up with something to get them to see it our way.

Maybe like that guy on Fox who walked out, cause he actually heard what Obama said in that speech, there is hope.

24. The media knows how to keep this primary going, ex TX and OH primary week
They sure beat the hell out of Obama the few days leading up to that primary to make sure Hillary did so well.

I give credit to the media on those Clintons wins.
They ran the 3 AM call 24/7 and started saying she has more experience. Though the following week they said maybe she didnt have that much.
Obama Muslim garb, also given full attention for days.

Ugh, sad..

The pockets of the media win in the end and the people lose.

31. What they didn't report about TX in particular...
Obama wound up with more delegates than Hillary...Obama won TX because it's the delegates that are counted at the end, yet they still paint it dark blue as a Hillary win. That's outright deceptive. On top of that, Obama was down 20 points in TX 3 weeks before the primary. For him to make up that much ground within 3 weeks is stunning to say the least, yet I never heard it mentioned by the MSM. They have tried their hardest to push Hillary ahead of Obama. I'm thrilled to see the people aren't buying what they're trying to sell. Finally, the people are beginning to realize how they're being manipulated by corporate controlled media. People should ask themselves WHY the corporate controlled media wants Hillary as the nominee.

Great post Frenchie....I went and played golf today...no TV and no DU. My spirit has been refreshed. :D
