I just think I heard
On C-SPan that Charles RAngel is preparting the Articles of Impeacment against Rumsfeld today, can anyone verify this?

3. Rumsfeld cannot be impeached...
...because once nominated and confirmed he serves at the pleasure of the President.

Only the President, the vice president (maybe) and federal justices can be impeached.

Rumsfeld can be tried for crimes, and sued for (some) torts.

6. Can't members of Congress
be impeached as well? Maybe not. I could be wrong. But I know that their respective body can give them the boot.

your government teacher says an APPOINTED official can not be impeached.... only fired.
HOWEVER..... they can withdraw their Vote of confidence.... which was given to him when he was confirmed.

I wasnt listening but have my closed caption on and didnt see the whole thing as it flashed by when I turned my head from the computer screen while listening to the O Franken Factor on real player and the BBC on shortwave (I multi-task my news input)
