I'm interested in knowing since there are so many people here who would NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton.

6. No, and I have told fellow Obama supporters to stop burning bridges
I will vote for Clinton if she is the nominee, but some of her supporters here make me really not want to. I imagine some Clinton supporters feel the same way about Obama supporters.

will fail to vote for the Dem candidate, regardless of who it is. So no, I don't think very many people here feel that way, honestly. It makes me glad that DU in fact represents such a small part of the electorate.

11. What, you're thinking that you're not going to vote for Obama in November?
Well, you'll find many other Hillary supporters just like yourself around here. Sad, sorry and pathetic is what it is, some Hillary supporters acting like little children, taking their ball and leaving when they can't get their way.

13. I've voted for her twice...
...as US Senator. But, she isn't a LEADER. She isn't an ADMINISTRATOR. She's someone whose ego believes she is DESTINED to be President. Sorry, but it's NOT her time. She, as a student of history, should realize, for the good of the country, that it's NOT her time. If she doesn't, then it only solidifies my feeling that it's all about her, and NOT the good of the USA.

20. Most Hillary supporters are Democrats and will support the Democratic nominee.
The select few whiny crybabies who won't would never have voted for Obama anyway even if he took a bullet for them, for one of two reasons.

1) He's black.

2) He stole the crown from Queen Hillary.

I'm sure in some cases, both reasons apply.

broad support from all segments of the Democratic Party. Everyone know that, so what's your point?

23. A much better and much more important question:
are the petulance and bruised egos of Hillary's supporters a reason to NOT vote for the candidate who can prevent another Republican presidency and a likely continuation of the grossly failed policies of the Bush administration? At this point, it seems extremely unlikely that Hillary will secure the nomination. This is an unfortunate reality that those who support Senator Clinton must eventually accept; we have clear statements from people like Nancy Pelosi regarding the non-viability of Senator Clinton's most realistic path to the nomination.

Another important question: given that Senator Clinton's most realistic path to the nomination involves superdelegates choosing to nominate a candidate who will have fewer pledged delegates and a likely popular vote deficit going into the convention, and given that most intelligent observers whose viewpoints are not coloured by the support of one candidate over another are of the opinion that her securing the nomination in such a manner would cause a rift in the Democratic Party, why do many supporters of Senator Clinton choose to endorse this as a strategy anyway? This question is important, because it would seem that these Clinton supporters are guilty of blindness and hypocrisy in taking this position: on the one hand, you ask 'how do you expect to win without Hillary supporters?', while on the other hand, one must ask 'is Hillary's nomination important enough to you that you're willing to risk a dramatic rift in the Democratic Party?'

24. Do you really think Hillary would take the high road on this? BWA-HA-HA!
Hillary Clinton will torch the entire Democratic Party before she will take the high road and urge her supporters to support a winning Democratic candidate.

As far as winning without her voters...there has been a steady migration of voters away from HRC and towards Obama. It's been a case of, having seen HRC for 2 years proclaiming herself the inevitable candidate, and now getting a chance to get to know Obama, it seems pretty clear they like what they see in Obama and they don't so much like what they see in HRC.

Any Democrat who has hated the Rove tactics used in the last 10 years will recoil from Hillary Clinton using the same tactics.

I know I am one of those Democrats. Voting for Hillary Clinton would be the same as voting for Bush Jr. She has endorsed his neocon agenda in the Senate, and now she is using the most vile of the Bush/Rove tactics.
