Rockefeller rebutted on Kerry comment

an actual headline from the front page of the Arkansas section of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. I could hardly believe that this daily RW wipe would include a story like this.

Workers with a Maumelle defense contractor didn’t exactly recite the Republican Party line Wednesday despite their company’s property being a venue for a Bush campaign news conference.
Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller, chairman of the state Republican Party, said workers at the company, BEI Technologies Inc., could lose their jobs if Bush loses to Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.
"It’s been here before Bush, it’ll be here after Bush," the worker, Cynthia Reeves, a payroll accountant, told Rockefeller.
Later the company’s general manager said he had no particular worries about the future of BEI if Kerry beats Bush.

Haha. RW hack gets dressed down by the payroll clerk. The story goes on to tell of the debate between the employee and The Rock in which Win states that jobs in the military industry are not safe under any administration. Win also admitted that there were no recent statements or votes by Kerry that directly affected BEI. This is in direct contradiction to the * ads running in the state concerning defense jobs in Arkansas.
The article goes on to say that Rep. Vic Snyder was contacted and stood up for Kerry, calling Win's statements "Republican playbook to destroy Kerry".
Obviously, not everyone on the bench is willing to trot out the lies and stand behind them.
Also provides a good game plan: Get in the scumbags' faces and they will back down.
