Kerry has been on the air with his general election ads already (although I have seen a lot more Bush ads). Kucinich ran some ads in PA, but I don't suspect it was a lot. LaRouche camapigned in the state a week or so ago, and was endorsed by a back-bencher State Represetative (and rad no ads in the state as far as I am aware).

2. Bush was the only one on the ballot
He recieved 871,184 votes.

That may seem like a lot, but the GOP turnout was driven up by the Senate race, as well as competative congressional primaries in three districts. There was only one competative Democratic congressional.

6. Your total for Edwards is about 4,000 too low.
Edwards, interestingly, beat Dean in almost every county except Lehigh by a narrow margin and Philadelphia by a wide margin.

Dean beat Edwards by 10,000 votes in Philadelphia!

DEAN, HOWARD (DEM)
80,564

KUCINICH, DENNIS J. (DEM)
30,478

EDWARDS, JOHN (DEM)
77,779

LAROUCHE, LYNDON H. JR. (DEM)
22,155

KERRY, JOHN F. (DEM)
584,913

BUSH, GEORGE W. (REP)
881,623

8. From memory, I think that most of those 4000 votes are from a mis-
tabulation in Westmoreland.

Last night they had Edwards with a couple hundred votes to Dean's 2,900 or so votes. Today, Dean's votes didn't change, but Edwards's are up to 4,000 in Westmoreland.

11. A lot of those votes were probably from people who didn't like any of the
other candidates on the ballot. Rather than not voting for that office, they voted for the guy they didn't know.
