Olbermann--Hsu does not equal Rezko--although Hsu donated to Obama & Clinton
...Hsu was a successful bundler for the Democratic Party--Obama even benefited during his Senate campaign. Norman Hsu was not a friend of the Clintons, other than to the extent that you or I would be if we were able to raise a lot of money for the Democratic Party and for the Clinton campaign. The assumption was that he was legitimate.

You might read the Wikipedia article about Hsu, from which the following paragraph was taken:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Hsu

"The general pattern of reaction has been typified by Bob Kerrey, president of the New School and former Senator from Nebraska, who originally stated that Hsu had been "a terrific member" of the New School board.<20> After Hsu resigned as a board member,<27> Kerrey said the university did not do background checks of prospective trustees<52> and that he hoped that Hsu "didn't break the law."<13> After Hsu became a two-time fugitive, Kerrey remarked, "I thought that I knew him, but obviously I didnt.""

Obama's relationship with Tony Rezko, in spite of what Obama told us on TV during a debate, probably extended beyond the 5 hours he claimed to have worked on a Rezko project indirectly as a lawyer. It seems that there must be personal relationship if you are meeting with Rezko to walk through your new house, and then his wife buys the next-door property, which enables you to buy the house, even though the Rezko's are financially tanking at that time.

Don't let your personal support for Obama as president affect your ability to be fair. It is hard to trust anything that a partisan spokesman is saying.

Also, you might want to learn a little bit more about Whitewater. It's not equivalent to the Obama real estate deal except that no wrong doing has been discovered yet in either case. The Republicans made the American tax payers foot the bill for the witch hunt. You might enjoy reading Stewart's "Blood Sport." Remember that Susan McDougal was imprisoned because she refused to lie.

Go back to the debate - Hillary accused Obama of LEGALLY REPRESENTING Rekzo.

Obama was correct - he did only 5 hours of LEGAL work.

Prior to that, he ALWAYS acknowledged that he had been a friend of Rezko's, and by that time he had already returned some of the donations.

So to repeat, the charge by Hillary was about

*** LEGAL REPRESENTATION *** nothing else.

Obama was honest in his answer. It was only 5 hours worth of work.

Legal representation.
Legal representation.
Legal representation.
Legal representation.
Legal representation.
Legal representation.

Get it?

Get real. The Clintons have a truck load. Hsu, serving time in prison, is just one of a long long list going back a very long time.

4. Hsu raised $850,000 dollars JUST for Hilly.
What dishonest bullshit it is to omit that rather salient crap. And then there's Giustra. And Gupta. And Paul. And so many more filthy money people that the Clintons cozy up to.
