A little good news, Obama supporters

Obama still on top in Gallup tracking 49 - 46. This indicates the Rev. Wright thing isn't devastating.

1. Rasmussen has him tumbling 17 points in 24 hours
Obama had a bad week. And it appears that it will continue.

6. Any swing that severe, in any poll for anybody, has to be considered suspect.
It's just too extreme.

Eat crow much?

Say it with me: statistical error.

11. LOL! Bad week. This time last week, Hillary was up by one. Today, Obama is up by one.
Obama's "bad week" sucks more for you.

2. That's much better than Rasmussen
But remember that these are 3 or 4 day averages, plus news takes a little while to get around to those who don't follow it religiously. This will get worse before it gets better. Still, it's a bit of a relief, for now.

3. We shall watch and listen.......
But I'm glad to hear Barack start to speak more about the state of race relations in this country.

He is saying what needs to be said.

I think this will help him...but it will take a few days.

I believe that people are actually better in the pit of their heart than not.

8. What is really of concern is the dead tie
between either Obama or Clinton with McCain. We need to clean up our own house, stop trying to destroy each other and focus on McCain.

10. Not really good news
These numbers include several really good days after Mississippi and Wyoming where he got a bounce and don't fully account for the Wright controversy. Expect the numbers to get worse before they stabilize, with Clinton probably retaking the lead by 4-7 points.

15. And with Spitzer resigning tomorrow, Hillary will lose one superdelegate
David Paterson is already a superdelegate.
