I'm watching the Obama rally, and despite the race baiting use of the manufactured Wright controversy he is talking to a multi-cultural crowd in Plainfield, IN, right outside of Indianapolis.

Folks Obama is showing how we are going to move this country forward. He is leading. He is unbowed. The racist right wing and the faction (by no means all) of the Clinton camp known as the Krazy Klinton Krew must be having fits. They were unable to paint him as the angry Black man.

BTW we he is talking about domestic abuse right now.

...and in my own personal exchanges with some Clinton supporters here in Missouri, in the Ozarks and Franklin county, I definately don't scoff at your use of that reference for today. Unless we acknowledge that there are those out there that are supporting Clinton and/or McCain for purely racist reasons, and there are, we're likely to give their disgusting views more visibility than they should have.

National Alliance, a white supremist organization, was officially against the Iraq war. That doesn't mean I want any of those fuckers sitting at a table with me. And frankly, those that wouldn't vote for Hillary because she is a woman are just as likely, or more likely, to support McCain because they are knuckle dragging jackasses, than to be supporting Obama. But there are plenty of old school racists left in the Democratic party. For whatever reason, they stuck around when Strom and the rest of the Dixiecrats left.

Maybe when it comes time, they won't be able to get over themselves and pull the Obama lever in the General Election. Maybe they will stay home or vote for McCain. But in all honesty, I'd prefer they go ahead and expose themselves now for the bigots that they are, because I want to make sure I don't invite them to the table, for dinner or anything else.
