Hey everybody! Obama is not a Muslim after all!!!!
He's actually a Christian. He got married in the Christian church and his two kids were given Christian baptisms. He loves the lord and was brought to Jesus Christ. He's belonged to this Christian church in Chicago for like 20 years or something. He did have this crazy old pastor who just retired, you know how fiery and passionate some of those black preacher-men can be. He made all these off the wall, offensive remarks about white people, but you know how they can be. Anyway he said he doesn't agree with all of his incendiary rhetoric. He's an old guy who came of age in the 60's still has a lot of anger about what he faced in his life which has shaped his world view. Thought you'd all want to know that we were wrong about the Muslim thing!

1. In two weeks, that will be the net effect of this whole thing.......
..Hillary fans don't get it.

The reason McCain isn't talking about this at all is two-fold:

1. Hagee

2. Eliminates the ability to use the "Obama is a muslim" whispering campaign.

4. Republicans not liking this one bit...nullifies the muslim whispering campaign
It gives Obama the chance to talk about coming to Jesus, his love for the lord, etc. lots of coverage. People will be confused...but, but, I thought he was Muslim! They won't know what to believe. The fact that it is evident that he has been a Christian for so long, before he came into politics actually helps his case. The facts about his family and their involvement in the church helps as well. Most people know that the church is not just about the pastor, it's the entire community. I wasn't thinking so before, but I believe that this will either have a slightly net positive effect or be neutral for Obama. The shock value will be gone come fall.
