Why the press hates Obama
Obama is a GRASS ROOTS candidate. He doesn't have to take money from the lobbyists. He is supported by grass roots Americans. This scares the holy shit out of the people who have been running this country.

It's that simple. Americans will FINALLY have a candidate who might DO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE and the big boys don't want that.

1. It was so much more fun around here when the press just hated Hillary.
Not so much fun anymore, huh?

3. We need not worry. The press will
be on her case again tomorrow. Fickle is as fickle does.

17. It was so much more fun around here when we stood TOGETHER
and not divided. We DO have a common enemy, you know? And it isn't Barack or Hillary.

The Repubs don't have to destroy us. We're doing it to ourselves. What a shame.

Pssst! I never said a word about Hillary Clinton. Not one mention of her name. Just because I make a comment on the press attacking Obama doesn't negate the fact that they have smeared Hillary for YEARS, even before she was a candidate.

What is WRONG with you guys? Have you lost your minds?

2. Hates Obama? They helped him minimize the 20 year relationship
with a bigot without asking ANY QUESTIONS. Come on. Is it obvious to no one but SNL that the media is giving Obama a leg up?

how the MSM media ALL were scoffing at Howard Dean as the "Internet candidate" and what little effect THEY said this tool had? We're not hearing THAT story line from Howard Kurtz this time are we?

12. You're absolutely right.
And look what happened to their campaigns. Obama's gotten farther than they ever thought he'd get. And he represents a real danger to the status quo.

By the way, I'm a Kucinich supporter, the little good that it does me. After they got rid of Kucinich, I was an Edwards supporter.

10. They hate ANY Democratic candidate
But whoever is on top, they hate the most. And they are REALLY afraid of Obama, because of his grass roots support.

9. Bias
You know what I'd really like to see? A moratorium on all this "Who does the press hate?" crap. It's a foolish assertion, used to explain and excuse just about anything. It is intellectually lazy and childish. The press is not monolithic. Anyone can find examples of bias toward any candidate if they try hard enough.

11. I REALLY wish DU had not degenerated like this
during the primary. This is JUST what the powers-that-be want us to do--tear each other to pieces. We aren't helping ourselves.

I made a comment on what the press is doing to Obama. I said NOTHING about Hillary. But you guys read into it what you want. Geez.

13. Obama is a sly one. He says he doesn't take money from lobbyists or pacs
but he takes money from their employees and owners, which isn't reported as money from a pac or lobbyist.

You are being fooled. He has taken in as much money as Hillary has taken from special interests. He is a sham.

14. Press doesn't hate Obama.
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 10:32 AM by lizzy
Some talking heads are pratically salivating over Obama, and aren't scared to admit it.
He had like 80 % positive press up to recently, way more than Hillary.
HTF do you come out of it claiming that press hates Obama?

19. I don't think so, the Rev.Wright
thing should have been brought up months ago long before the primaries ever started. I don't think the MSM hates Obama or Hillary I think they just want a good horse race for ratings. They sat on this Rev. Wright stuff until it appeared Obama was going to win and now they are going to hammer him. If it looks like McCain is too far ahead it will be his turn anything to keep those rating up.

They adored him. Couldn't get enough of him.

What changed?
