| 4. Contrary to many posters belief on this board, I do not hate Barack Obama |
|
my main concern from day one has been that he has not been vetted and that we would be in a bad place unless that process took place. It was all Hillary 24/7.
I feel bad for him, but that doesn't mean I think he's the best qualified and i think he has a truthiness problem.
I am sad for the democratic party for putting dems in this position.

Obama denounce Rev. Wright? Because this morning on MSNBC the soundbite showed he wouldn't denounce Rev. Wright.

| 8. No. He denounced some of the things he's heard that Wright |
|
has said and strongly. He did not denounce the man who has been a friend and spiritual mentor to him. He did what he does so well - introduced reason back into an unreasonable argument.
He said he hadn't heard the two sermons that were on video, and if he had, he would have spoken about them to Rev. Wright. But they do not have to agree on everything.
He also pointed out that Rev. Wright is an example of an earlier generation - one that saw the injustices much more up close and personal, and obviously a man who is still very angry. He himself represents a different generation, which has benefitted from the fight of the earlier people, but which doesn't carry the same anger. He spoke in his usual reasoned and eloquent style and made a hell of a lot of sense. (This was on Olbermann last night).

| 7. Obama's assertion that he was "unaware" of such comments |
|
seems to be a lie, seeing that he knew at least a year ago that he had do separate himself from this "preacher". He canceled an invocation that the "good pastor" was scheduled to delivery at Obama's presidential announcement. I'm sure his lies will be uncovered with video evidence quite soon.
