These folks decrying Trinity must be the same ones who bought into the war stories. :eyes:

The right wing is trying to start a race war with this campaign. Some easy targets are being played like fiddles.

5. It's strange to me how rightwingers were drumming on this for months on the internet
and then all of the sudden supposed democrats (and I'll take them at the word on this) ran with it all on the same day. The leg work had been done by vile creatures for a long time, which is why Fox is further ahead on this story than the others.

It's been discussed ad naseum in these arenas and on talk radio. They started with the meme that he was anti-Semitic, for making the same critique as Jimmy Carter re: Israel and the partitioning of Gaza, Linguistically speaking there is no argument since Apartheid is Afrikaans for separate, and the function of a partition is to, well separate. They've been digging from there. This is the best they could do. Someone's been putting this together for oppo. research for a long time. It must of been hard work making it look bad, pairing it down to those handful of quotations, out of 700,000 minutes of sermon footage (according to the new pastor of the church).

12. In all the years I went to church I never heard a sermon that began that way end as
Jeremiad. There was usually a path toward something better.

never bought into it, but you get the idea.

14. Im very concerned that Bush will make an example out of the UCC denomination."God Damn America" is
going to cost them tax exempt status.
I think they blew it by not condemning the racial and anti American remarks.
Its a great, super liberal denomination and I hate to see whats about to happen.
The Republicans control the IRS and they will show their patriotism. And Americans will be cheering.
UCC needs a PR firm and political adviser quick.

It will open up all the double standards when it comes to religion and politics. Robertson's next.
