Didn't Ferraro make what is commonly called on blogs "flamebait" ?
Isn't that pretty much the long and short of it?

She knew what she was saying and she knew why she was saying it and it was to provoke an explicit response and then she wanted to become the "victim" of the response of her bait.

Her comments are weird. They were just gratuitous and uncalled for. No halfway sophisticated politician in this day and age would have made them. Therefore, I think she had a conscious motivation -

I think she is chumming for Hillary.

No, this entire dustup is well-orchestrated. The Clinton's
know exactly what they are doing. And yes, they're playing the
race card. It's the last card they've got.
