Actually, the future of NYS looks fine...Assuming Spitzer resigns,
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 08:33 AM by Oleladylib
Paterson moves to Governer and Bruno to Lt. Gov...This is a Democrat/Republican team that like each other and can work together..It could go a long ways to bringing factions together..something that needs doing here and in the nation..If this can be an example of something good..then I for one am for it..The only negative I see is that they are both down staters and we upstaters have only been looked at by Clinton, Schumer and Slaughter...forget Reynolds he's too busy doing whatever...So wish us well and watch what we hope to do.

1. Spitzer should resign, for the good of the state and for the good of the party
If not, then he will be both ineffective and an albatross weighing state and party down.

5. Really? I didn't know that (not a NYer). That's awful. I hope he is out on his ass the next
election. I believe we will get civil unions with either Hillary or Barack, so his narrow views may not matter so much. Still, he seems pretty unelectable.
