Clinton Supporter to Obama Supporters: Congrats
Hello hello

I am a Clinton Supporter. I believe she is going on to win the Primary.

Today you guys won the Wyoming Primary. Congratulations for your victory, the day is yours. Tomorrow we go at it again.

Enjoy your victory, I offer no excuses, I'm not happy about it, but he won it fair and square.

Congratulations

1. Likewise
Your candidate did a fine job campaiging in Ohio and for the Texas primary. If she campaigns that well this fall--if she is nominated--then we will be just fine.

2. I agree with you. The day is theirs. The road is long and there are other states and primaries.
Hillary Clinton must fight on, for the good of the party.

8. Good tonight if I get dragged into talking politics
I should tell people..."First off let me say that I'm an Eggocrat" Just so they think I'm crazy and leave me alone. I try to keep all my insane political debates on DU exclusively.

5. See you on the 11th And Thank you for finally being the one to be a good sport!
I have seen nasty things from other Clinton Supporters today. Things that alienate the state towards November. I am glad to see you being positive about this.

Let us see what happens on the 11th

7. I admire your "belief" in your candidate.... but how are you at math?
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 03:44 PM by scheming daemons
Because.... short of Obama inexplicably dropping out of the race, she can't catch him. I think all evidence of how the SDs have been going is that AT best she will split them with Obama.

But seriously... I admire your loyalty. No snark.

15. Ouch! You impugned the civility of everyone in the cult.
I must go burn incense and make sacrifices to the Gods of Hope in our secret temple! Someone, fetch me my robes!

10. not for nuthin TheDeathadder
but exactly how do you figure she does it? Did you know that before today's Obama win if Clinton had won all 16 remaining contests by and average of 10-15% EACH...she STILL wouldn't be able to catch Obama with pledged delegates

13. Thanks...Here's an article all team players will appreciate
Wyoming Democrats are thrilled with the turnout today:

=="Look at these lines!" exclaimed former Wyoming Secretary of State Kathy Karpan. "I feel like I died and went to heaven."

Here in the state's capital, Democratic Party officials said 1,532 voters cast ballots. The voting, which took place in the auditorium of the Cheyenne Civic Center, had to be conducted in waves, because the venue was not large enough to hold everyone. Some voters ended up waiting in line for more than two hours to vote.

"We have been waiting too long," said 47-year-old nurse Rebecca Crook, who had never been to a caucus. "But we'll stay. I find this really exciting."

Voters here in Laramie County cast paper ballots, which were then counted in a dressing room by four volunteers. They sat at brightly lighted makeup mirrors, under the eye of two out-of-state attorneys, one observing for Clinton, the other for Obama.

At precisely 9 this morning, Laramie County Democratic Chairman Mike Bell gaveled his county's caucus to order. The civic center, with a capacity of 1,500, was nearly full, and hundreds of voters were still lined up outside, in a relatively balmy 38-degrees, waiting to sign in to cast their ballots in the Democratic presidential contest.

"Good morning Wyoming Democrats!" said Bell. "I gotta question for you: Where in the hell did you come from?"

The crowd roared its approval. He was right to ask: in 2004, exactly 160 people turned up for the Laramie County Democratic caucus. Across Wyoming, where 23 county caucuses will determine whom the state's 12 delegates will support, turnout was beyond expectations.==

16. I won't be doing any math replies
or replies to people who want to fight.

I'll show up in other threads for all of that.

Just trying to build up my Clinton karma and suck it up (though I don't want to) and say "Congratulations To The Obama People"

I argued with many today up until he won the caucus. Now that he won I'm calling it a day and will start the fight for my candidate again tomorrow. Today, like it or not, is Obama's. A win's a win and I'm not going to even try to take away a contest that was fought and won fairly.

Congratulations, the day's yours, and the DU night is yours too.

Logging out see you tomorrow
